Various sufferings such as those of mothers appear. Furthermore, from the same ground, when beings have not cultivated with digging and tools, crops and the like do not grow. But from that same ground, when cultivated with digging and other tools, crops grow well, so it is momentary. This is one kind of change. The saying "destroyed by being struck and so on" means that the land also changes due to being struck and dug by hammers and hoes. Previously, where there were no pits and depressions, after being dug by a hoe, they become pits and depressions. This is the second kind of change. The saying "done by the arising of fire and so on" means that the land also changes due to the power of the great elements of fire and so on. When burned by fire, the color changes to blue or red; when blown by the wind, it changes from high to low; when put in water, it becomes moist and decays. This is the third kind of change. The saying "because of shifting to another time, done by time" means that the land changes because of being done by time. In good times, grains and the like become the basis for good growth; in bad times, grains and the like become the cause of bad growth. In summer, grass and the like grow green; in winter, they turn gray and become cold and other natures. In some places, what was previously a monastery later becomes a village and a noisy place; what was previously a village later becomes a monastery. These phenomena exist, this is the fourth kind of change. If there is no cause for each moment to enter, it cannot arise. That is, these four kinds of changes arise and cease in each moment. For permanent things, it is impossible for four kinds of changes to occur from one state to another. If that were the case, it would not be. Because the four kinds of changes are observed, it should be recognized that the land is also momentary. Colors, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations are the same as earth and so on, so they should also be recognized as momentary. Colors and smells

Taste and touch, these four things are also based on the form that has the same nature as earth, water, fire, and wind and serves as the cause. Because the four great elements rely on the four great elements, the four great elements of dryness, growth, self-motion, and the arising and complete transformation from them are established in an instant by these four reasons. If established, then the color and so on that depend on it should also be understood to be established in an instant. For example, if the body of Devadatta is burned, then the color and smell and so on that depend on Devadatta are not not burned, but like being burned. If fire is established in an instant, then the yellow color and smell and so on that exist in the fire are also not not established in an instant, but are established in the instant of the mind. Fire is also produced in an instant because it depends on wood. The so-called "because it depends on wood," saying that fire is instantaneous is also because fire, this great element, depends on wood, and it is said to be instantaneous by the reason of arising. So, how does it depend on wood? If there is wood, it will not not arise; if there is no wood, fire will not arise. If a large amount of wood is put in, the fire will burn fiercely; if a small amount of wood is put in, the fire will burn small, so it should be understood as instantaneous. Fire depends on wood, therefore, to show the reason for dependence. The so-called "when fire arises, the wood that arises together with the fire does not remain the same," some people admit that fire is instantaneous, but do not admit that wood is instantaneous, this is to refute them. First, wood produces fire, and the wood that is related and exists together with the fire also disappears as the fire burns the wood. The fire goes out, and the wood no longer exists. The degree of destruction is the same as the degree of destruction of the wood, and the wood no longer exists. Therefore, fire and wood do not exist together, and like fire, wood is also impermanent. If others think like this: wood is impermanent, but fire is permanent. In order to show that this is unreasonable, it is finally said, "Because it cannot exist without wood." It is said, "It cannot exist when the wood is burned." If fire burns wood, and the wood is exhausted and disappears, then in the end, fire cannot exist either, because the wood is burned and exhausted, and the fire also disappears and disappears, therefore it is proved that fire is instantaneous. If fire is permanent, then after the wood is exhausted
