Next, it is said that, having previously dwelt in a state with seeds, from that (state) having ceased, later also arises another mind with seeds of affliction; having previously dwelt in a state with seeds, from that moment having ceased, later arises a momentary entity without seeds, for an entity that is not momentary but constantly abides, such a thing cannot occur. For a permanent entity, it is unreasonable for the previous mind with seeds to cease, and for the subsequent mind with seeds to arise, in order to show this reason, for each moment that remains unchanged, it is impossible to be a seed entity at another time, so it is said. In this way, from having seeds to having seeds also, the previous moment with seeds ceases and becomes the cause, and the subsequent moment with seeds arises. For permanent entities, those that remain unchanged in this way, the previous moment is the cause, and the subsequent moment is like the result, it is impossible to occur. If it does not happen that way, it is also impossible for the previous moment with seeds to cease and for another subsequent moment with seeds to arise, because it will always remain in the same nature. For example, from a seed sprouts a sprout, it is after the seed has ceased that the sprout arises, but if the seed has not ceased, then the sprout will never arise. In order to show that for permanent entities, it is impossible to change from dwelling with seeds to becoming an entity without seeds, it is said that the last moment cannot be without seeds. If the entity is permanent, and remains constantly without destruction, then from the previous state of having seeds, at the last moment of obtaining destruction, it is impossible to become an entity without seeds, because for a permanent entity, it is impossible to change into two states, having seeds and not having seeds. In order to show why it is impossible for a permanent entity to change from the previous state of having seeds to the subsequent nature of not having seeds, it is said that it is not permissible to assume that the previous state has seeds, and the last moment becomes without seeds. The seed is that the moment with seeds ceases, and the last moment has no seed.

If the present moment does not arise, then for the permanent dharma, because the previous seed does not produce the subsequent other things, so in each ordinary person's time, the mind and what arises from the mind exist in a state with seeds. Finally, in the time of the Arhat's aggregates, it cannot be admitted that it will become without seeds. If there is not that, the final is also impossible to exist, just like this, the final itself will not arise. If the moment with seeds ceases, and the moment without seeds arises later is not like that, if it always exists permanently, then it always exists in the thing with seeds, and it is impossible to become without seeds later. Because the thing without seeds does not exist later, so the final Arhat's aggregates are also impossible to exist. Thus, if the final aggregates are impossible to exist, then the final Arhat's aggregates arising is also impossible, therefore Arhats etc. also do not exist. For the arising of images, the moment follows the mind and arises, it should be understood like this. Those who practice the eight liberations, from the mind appear all blue, all yellow, etc. The arising of images is also produced by the power of the mind, so it should be understood as a moment. In order to clearly show that itself, it is said that "each moment is also produced by the power of the mind", each moment appears yellow and blue etc. images, also the yogi's mind how it thinks, it appears like that. Because it appears by the power of the mind, and the mind is also a moment, so the blue etc. images arising from the mind should also be understood as a moment. If the cause is a moment, the result cannot be not a moment, just like the refutation above. Thus, after proving that the internal conditioned dharmas are momentary with five verses, now use three verses to prove that the external conditioned dharmas are momentary. "The elements and the six objects, should be said that they are all momentary." For this verse, these external conditioned dharmas, namely earth, water, fire, wind, the four great elements, and color, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma.

And also the form included in sound and the sense-sphere of dharmas. Among them, the form included in the sense-sphere of dharmas is non-revealing form, and these are all momentary. As for "dry and born," the water element among the four great elements is expressed as momentary due to the reason of drying up and growing. As for "by nature, moving and arising and diminishing," the wind element is expressed as momentary due to the reason of moving by nature and arising and diminishing. As for "earth arises from that," the earth element is expressed as momentary by the very reason that it arises from water and wind. As for "color and smell, taste, and touch are also the same, so it is also like that," among the six objects, the four, color, smell, taste, and touch, rely on water, earth, and wind. Since they have the same nature as water, earth, and wind, in the case of earth, water, and wind, they are expressed as momentary by the reason of drying up and growing, etc. As for "arising depends on wood," the momentary arising of the fire element is also expressed as momentary by the reason that it depends on wood. As for "focusing on becoming larger and larger," sound is expressed as momentary by the reason that it is focused on becoming larger and larger. As for "following the mind," the form included in the sense-sphere of dharmas, that is, non-revealing form, should also be known as momentary by the reason that it follows the mind. As for "similar, external phenomena are also momentary," for those who do not admit momentariness, by the reason of questioning, all of the four great elements and the six objects should be known as momentary. As for "how to express it," it means what kind of reason and measure are used to express the momentariness of the four great elements and the six objects? As for "water is dry and grows," it means that the water element is expressed as momentary by the reason of drying up and growing. In order to show that meaning, it is said, "water in troughs and lakes, etc., is observed to grow and dry up." Troughs and lakes, etc., in a season like summer when there is a lot of rain, begin to fall before many days of rain, and the water itself
