None. What is it called? When a Bodhisattva practices the conduct of a Bodhisattva, even if demons and others transform into the form of a Buddha and try to make the Bodhisattva abandon the conduct of a Bodhisattva, they cannot make him abandon it; even if non-Buddhists and others refute views with various reasons and begin to refute other views, they cannot make him abandon his own view. This is: "There is always no obstruction by demons." This refers to the complete nature of not being taken away. "Especially attained," what is it called? The mind that discriminates with reason, for the place where one abides in sequence, becomes even wider and more extensive, this is called "especially attained." For example, the mind that discriminates with reason on the first ground is more extensive than the mind that discriminates with reason on the second ground, so it is entering into difference. This is one type of action of the complete maturation of not being taken away. "Refuting the other's side," what is it called? The other's side refers to the doctrines of non-Buddhists and others. Because one possesses a mind that discriminates with reason, one is able to refute the side of non-Buddhists and others. The meaning is that I am able to grasp the Buddha's teachings themselves. This is the second type of action of the complete maturation of the action of not being taken away. "The characteristic of causing not being taken away to be completely matured," what is it called? If one possesses the three: the cause of not being taken away, the nature, and the action, then not being taken away will become completely matured, that is the meaning. "Having the limbs of abandonment completely matured," starting from this, composing verses, what is it called? Abandonment refers to abandoning the two, the grasper and the grasped, after realizing the Dharmadhatu of the first ground, so it is called abandonment. The five dharmas that become its companions are called "having the limbs of abandonment." What are the five? They are faith, non-deceit, non-fraud, physical health, and wisdom. That is to say, if one possesses the three: the cause of the limbs of abandonment, the nature, and the action, then the limbs of abandonment will become completely matured. In order to show this reason, verses are composed, that is the meaning. "Virtue and so on," what is it called? The word "virtue" refers to the accumulation of merit and the accumulation of wisdom.

Also, it means that the two are created. That is the cause of the limb of abandonment. Among the five limbs, this is combined with faith. The term 'dwelling' also means 'capable of diligence'. The word 'dwelling' refers to the body. When engaging in virtuous activities such as listening, contemplating, and meditating, the body is free from harm and discomfort. Furthermore, the body that constantly engages in diligence is called 'dwelling also capable of diligence'. This is the nature of the limb of abandonment. Among the five limbs, this is combined with the absence of illness in the body. 'Delighting in solitude' means abandoning all disturbances and delighting in dwelling in solitary places such as under trees and in caves. This is called 'delighting in supreme solitude'. This is one function of the limb of abandonment, and it is combined with being without deceit and without deception. 'Rejoicing in virtue' means that the word 'virtue' refers to the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. Rejoicing in listening, contemplating, and meditating on those Dharmas is called 'rejoicing in virtue'. This is the second function of the limb of abandonment, and it is combined with wisdom. 'One who possesses the limbs of the Victorious One's child desires the characteristic of perfect and complete maturation.' This means that if the five limbs of abandonment of the Bodhisattvas possess the cause, nature, and function, then they desire the characteristic of the complete maturation of the limb of abandonment. 'Composing verses based on the greatness of the nine aspects of self-perfection' means that if Bodhisattvas possess the nine qualities from faith to the limb of abandonment, it is called the perfection of the Buddha's Dharma in oneself. The meaning is that verses are composed to show that the nine qualities that make one's own Buddha Dharma perfect are themselves virtues and the greatness of oneself. Greatness is also of two types. What are the two? Becoming the basis for the activity of others' perfection, and causing the Dharma body to increase. 'Thus, the nine entities are the basis of maturation.' 'Thus' means as described above. The nine entities are the nine from faith to the limb of abandonment. As explained, the Bodhisattva is the basis, support, or place of those nine qualities.
