These are the summarized verses. "Joyful" means that one is only joyful and desirous of the profound and vast Mahayana Dharma, which is taught for the benefit of oneself and others. If one has no desire for the Dharma of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, then one should know that this Bodhisattva is fully ripened. "Faith" means that one thinks of the virtuous friends of the Mahayana individuals, "This one is the one who shows the path to unsurpassed enlightenment, therefore he is a virtuous friend." This is called faith. If one has such a mind, it is a sign of full maturation. "Very Peaceful" means that when one's own nature has become less prone to attachment, hatred, and ignorance, and one has the power to abandon afflictions and near afflictions, this is called very peaceful. If one has such power, one should know that it has become a sign of full maturation. "Loving-kindness" means that upon seeing sentient beings suffering, one thinks, "How should I remove the suffering of these sentient beings?" This is called loving-kindness. If one has such loving-kindness, one should know that it is a sign of full maturation. "Patience" means that when one is making the Buddhadharma fully mature, and when one is making sentient beings fully mature, one is able to give up one's head, hands, feet, etc., and endure suffering such as cold and heat, this is called patience. If one has such patience, one should know that the Bodhisattva will become fully mature. "Sharp Mind" means that when explaining the Dharma, or when first hearing it, one is able to grasp the meaning and words, and afterwards one is able to remember the words without forgetting them. One is able to understand the meanings without error, this is called sharp mind. If one possesses such a sharp mind, one should know that the Bodhisattvas will become fully mature. "Powerful" means that because one has accumulated a great deal of merit and wisdom, one is not overwhelmed by the afflictions, and one is able to realize the meaning of emptiness, this is called powerful. One who possesses such power is also a sign of becoming fully mature. "Not Stolen" means

La. When a Bodhisattva abides in the practice of a Bodhisattva, demons and others transform into the form of a Buddha. Even if they try to make the Bodhisattva abandon their practice, they do not give it up. Even if heretics preach in various ways, trying to change the Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva's view does not change. This is called not being robbed. Becoming like this is the characteristic of complete maturation. Having limbs means that when one becomes completely mature, one has five limbs of abandonment. The five limbs of abandonment are: faith, absence of deceit, absence of hypocrisy, absence of illness, and having the power of dwelling. The meaning of these five will be explained in detail below. "Excellent" means that all nine of the dharmas that have been spoken of have a very large share. This is the sign of the prince's complete maturation. This means that the nine dharmas mentioned above are the characteristics of the complete maturation of Bodhisattvas. If one has these nine, then that Bodhisattva has the characteristics of complete maturation. "Starting from the complete maturation of joy, composing verses" means that having discussed nine kinds of dharmas above, how much joy is obtained from them? The meaning is to compose verses in order to show the maturation of joy. This is shown in three ways: the cause of the complete maturation of joy, the nature of the complete maturation of joy, and the action of the complete maturation of joy. "Excellent friend and the like, three" means that a friend refers to a virtuous spiritual friend. Relying on a virtuous spiritual friend, listening to the true Dharma, and after listening, properly attending to the meaning of the Dharma without reversing it, this is called "excellent friend and the like, three." This is the cause of the complete maturation of joy. "Great diligence" means that listening to the Mahayana Dharma, thinking, and meditating are not occasional entries and occasional non-entries, but continuous entries, so it is called "great diligence." "Reaching the limit of the noble state" means that there is no doubt or hesitation about the four inconceivable places. This is called the true Dharma reaching the limit, inconceivable.
