It becomes. Extraordinary qualities such as the magical eye are also accomplished by the two, the present realization of the occasion and the ultimate realization. Therefore, it is related to the occasion of explaining the magical power after that. Or it is said that the method of being completely free from defilements is the meaning of that. Because one is completely free from defilements, one cannot obtain power and cannot subdue and attract sentient beings, and the Bodhisattva becomes weary. Therefore, in order to show the method so that one does not become weary of completely maturing sentient beings, it is related to the occasion of explaining the magical power after that. Or, among the seven aspects of what should be learned, it is necessary to explain as if the magical power is mentioned after the occasion of that. Therefore, it is related to the occasion of explaining the magical power after that. This occasion of magical power has six meanings: the detailed distinction of the definition of magical power, the cause of magical power, the result of magical power, the action of magical power, the possession of magical power, and the detailed distinction of magical power. In the chapter called the detailed distinction of the definition of magical power, magical power refers to the six kinds of superknowledge from the magical eye to the exhaustion of outflows. Starting from the definition and nature of the six kinds of superknowledge, composing verses is the meaning of this. Called birth, although death is not mentioned here, just as where there is smoke, there is fire, if there is birth, there is inevitably death, and if there is death, there is inevitably birth, so it should be understood that death is also shown through the power of meaning. Therefore, all sentient beings die from here and are born in a certain place, and after dying from there, they are also born in a certain place, until they have not attained Buddhahood and have not passed into Nirvana, knowing the birth and death of sentient beings. This is the superknowledge of knowing death and birth. Called speech, after sentient beings die and transmigrate, they know and hear the various languages spoken by gods and humans, as well as hell beings and animals, etc., in the five paths. This is the superknowledge of the divine ear. Called mind, this mind is greed.

We. (This is) being free from attachment, (this is) being with anger, (this is) being free from anger, etc., knowing the eighty-four thousand behaviors of sentient beings is called knowing the mind, this is the manifestation of various forms of mind. What is meant by generating virtue and non-virtue is knowing all the virtues and non-virtues that all sentient beings have done since beginningless samsara. For example, knowing that this sentient being practiced generosity in a previous life, so he has the habit of generosity; in a previous life he kept the precepts, so he has the habit of keeping the precepts, etc., knowing the habits of what he did in previous lives. Similarly, knowing that this sentient being killed in a previous life, so he has the habit of killing, etc., knowing the habits of what non-virtue he did in previous lives is called generating virtue and non-virtue, this is the knowledge of previous lives. What is meant by that place is the Buddha-land where the Tathagatas reside, and the world where sentient beings live. In order to make offerings to the Tathagatas, knowing to go to the Buddha-land by means of magical powers; in order to tame sentient beings, knowing to go to those worlds by means of magical powers is called knowing that place, this is the magical power. What is meant by arising is what method can liberate oneself and other beings from samsara, knowing this method is knowing arising, this is the exhaustion of outflows. What is meant by what is manifest is that these six kinds of superknowledges are as clear and obvious as an amala fruit in the palm of one's hand. What is meant by pervading is that the six superknowledges of the Bodhisattva can pervade all worlds, and can appear in all three times, so it is called pervading. What is meant by extreme liberation is that each superknowledge can perform various activities without hindrance for the benefit of sentient beings. The time to obtain the teachings is without beginning.
