It is related to meaning, referring to the connection between words and meaning. The unsurpassed refers to entering the unsurpassed vehicle, and the so-called entering the unsurpassed refers to entering the unsurpassed vehicle. In reality, it is to adorn by expounding the five dharmas belonging to the Mahayana. Now, these five kinds of self-nature of meaning are explained in two verses. Above, it is said that when decorating, use decoration, that is, use the exposition of the five dharmas to decorate. Now, two verses are used to show what these five dharmas are. Among them, the dharmas of the Mahayana are explained from the perspective of the five meanings. What are the five? They are what is to be proven, what is to be understood, what is to be thought, the inconceivable, and the meaning of complete understanding, each with its own self-awareness, the nature of the aspects of enlightenment. There are three explanations of these five dharmas, namely, the five objects of the Mahayana, the three self-natures, and the establishment of the person. Among them, the five objects of the Mahayana are: name, sign, discrimination, suchness, and non-discriminating wisdom. Among them, the so-called name is the nature of symbol, term, and manifest expression. Worldly people, through the path of name, are attached to the aggregates and realms, and other dharmas. How is it attached? Just as what name is used to manifest and establish what dharma, it is believed that these dharmas are self-existent. In reality, these dharmas spoken by name, together with name and dharma, do not exist. Therefore, the Bhagavan also said: What is the name used for, what is the dharma spoken of, that does not exist, that is the dharmata of dharma. Thus, for worldly people who are attached to the existence of dharmas through the path of name, it is difficult to make them believe that these dharmas spoken by name are not self-existent, so that is to be proven by reason. An example similar to this dharma is like hammering with gold, just like a skilled blacksmith hammering, burning, refining, and so on.

Making it feasible with great effort and diligence. Just as adorning with ornaments such as earrings and armlets creates the ultimate joy. For this Mahayana, for those who are attached to things by name, proving with reason that things referred to by name do not exist by their own nature, and proving the non-existence of the other side through refutation and other means. Just as being hammered out of gold, it will give rise to great joy. What is to be proven has been said. A mark refers to the nature of the manifested expression, the name itself, which becomes the basis of things, referring to the part of the external, other-dependent nature that is grasped, such as seeds and sprouts. Because various names can be applied depending on external things, it is called other-dependent. And things also arise dependently and interconnectedly, merely appearing from one's own mind, such as vases and cloths, which the world itself can recognize. Showing that this is dependent arising is merely for people to understand. How to understand? External dependent arising manifests, and because one can recognize it oneself, worldly people will have doubts about the manifested thing, and because there is no deep duality, it is merely for people to understand that sprouts arise from seeds, and leaves arise from sprouts, and so on. An example similar to this is like a blooming lotus. Just as seeing the lotus bloom with the sun's rays creates great joy. External things arise dependently, and it is shown without much effort, and if one can understand, great joy will arise. What is to be understood has been said. Discrimination refers to dependent arising itself, as a thing, becoming a part of grasping the nature of mind and mental factors, referring to internal dependent arising. That is, by listening to the Mahayana Dharma and thinking in the right way, external objects arise from the mind, and one should think in this way. Just like in the Abhidharma Kosha

Furthermore, how does one analyze the dharmas related to entering the Dharma? One analyzes with four types of reasoning. What are the four types of reasoning? They are dependent reasoning, functional reasoning, proving reasoning, and the reasoning of the nature of things. Now, if one properly contemplates with these four types of reasoning, considering that external phenomena are manifestations of the mind, it will be in accordance with abandoning all defilements and generating purity. An example that corresponds to this is like a person afflicted by hunger eating well-prepared food. Just as well-prepared food, complete with excellent color, smell, and taste, when eaten by someone afflicted by hunger, generates supreme joy, so too, the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, like nectar-like food, if those who are hungry because they have not previously listened to or contemplated the Dharma, listen and contemplate it, properly applying their minds, they will be satisfied by understanding its meaning and generate supreme joy. The explanation of contemplation is complete. Suchness is inconceivable. Why? Because it is beyond the realm of thought for ordinary beings and is something to be individually realized by noble ones. As it is said in the Compendium on the Great Vehicle, "The Dharmakaya is characterized by inconceivability." Thus, the purity of suchness is something to be individually realized, there is no example like it in the world, and it is inconceivable because it is beyond the realm of speculation. An example that is similar to this is like hearing a pleasant letter. Just as a pleasant letter with connected meaning and complete significance, when it falls into the hands of a wise person who has abandoned inverted thoughts, and they see it, understand its meaning, and generate supreme joy, so too, that very suchness, when it becomes manifest to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from the first ground onwards, that suchness is something to be individually realized, beyond the realm of speculation, without outflows, and without example.
