There are also transformations. In some parts of the mountains, soil and stones, etc., turn into silver, but there are also those that do not turn into gold and copper, etc. In some parts of the mountains, soil and stones, etc., turn into copper, but there are also those that do not turn into gold and silver, etc. In some parts of the mountains, soil and stones, etc., after being smelted, due to the different properties of medicines, uncertain changes may occur. If a goldsmith smelts, it will turn into gold; if a silversmith smelts, it will turn into silver; if a coppersmith smelts, it will turn into copper. Therefore, those whose species are certain are said not to be robbed by conditions, because no matter what the virtuous friend does, they will only take their own Bodhi and will not take other Bodhi. Those whose species are uncertain are said to be robbed by conditions, because they will obtain the result of being guided by a virtuous friend. In the section called "Verses on the Differentiation of Faults," even if there is the lineage of a Bodhisattva, if they possess the faults of the four near afflictions, due to the obscuration of the faults, they will not be able to enter the conduct of the grounds and perfections. To show this, the verses are composed. In "Habitual Afflictions," even if there is the lineage of a Bodhisattva, if they have become accustomed to and familiar with afflictions such as desire, hatred, and ignorance, it will lead to the increase of desire, the increase of hatred, and the increase of ignorance. They will only indulge in afflictions and will not be able to practice the conduct of the perfections. This is also a fault of lineage, the first fault. In "Evil Friends," even if there is the lineage of a Bodhisattva, they are instructed by those who like evil and unwholesome dharmas, and are driven to do evil deeds, and do not practice the perfections. This is also a fault of lineage, the second fault. In "Poverty," because they become poor, lacking food, clothing, and other necessities, they are unable to perform generosity and other virtuous deeds, and they also commit evil deeds for the sake of necessities. This is also a fault of lineage, the third fault. In "Under the Power of Others," the king

And being controlled by robbers and lords, etc., they are not allowed to do evil deeds such as killing, nor are they given to do good deeds such as giving, which is also a fault of lineage, this is the fourth fault. Called "Verses Differentiating Excellence." From the meaning summarized above, the meaning of "excellence" is explained in detail. If one has the lineage of a Bodhisattva, then for those who have the three lineages, even if they act as ordinary beings in samsara, they will obtain four qualities. In order to explain this, this verse is composed. It is called the meaning of the verse. From going to evil destinies for a long time, etc. For those of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha lineages, and those without lineage, if they commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then immediately after death they will be reborn in the three evil destinies such as hell. If those with the Bodhisattva lineage commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then after a long period of kalpas, at some time in the future they will experience the results of evil destinies. This is the first excellence. Then they will also be quickly liberated. For those of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha lineages, and those without lineage, if they commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then they will remain in the evil destinies such as hell until the lifespan of the hell beings is exhausted. If those with the Bodhisattva lineage commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then they will not remain until the lifespan of hell is exhausted, but will only remain for a short time, and then they will be quickly liberated from hell. This is the second excellence. For example, King Ajatasatru, although he committed the five inexpiable sins, by the power of his lineage, the suffering of hell that he experienced was like being bound with a silk cord. The suffering experienced was also small. For those of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha lineages, and those without lineage, if they commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then they will experience intense suffering that harms the body and mind, while those with the Bodhisattva lineage, if they commit evil deeds such as the five inexpiable sins, then the harm to the body and mind that they experience will be light and small. This is the third excellence. Disgusted and compassionate towards sentient beings.
