And also, the meaning is divided into four aspects to explain, which is the meaning of "explanation." This is a summary of the detailed classification of lineages. The one called "Verses on the Classification of Existence" is that above, it was only briefly mentioned as "existence," in order to explain how the three lineages exist with four reasons, so verses are composed, this is the concluding remark. Called "The Elements and," the elements, seeds, and lineages, these meanings are the same, only the names are different. This is to say that in the realm of sentient beings, the nature and seeds of sentient beings are different, and if the nature of sentient beings is distinguished, there will be countless kinds, how is that? For example, some sentient beings are of the nature of indulging in desire, some are of the nature of indulging in hatred, some are of the nature of indulging in ignorance, etc., some are of the nature of the Hearer lineage, some are Solitary Buddhas

Due to the circumstances of danger, although one develops joy and faith in the Mahayana Dharma, like those with the Mahayana lineage, some are able to practice the bhumis and paramitas, while others are not. For example, like the venerable Shariputra, who was saved by a Mahayana spiritual friend and practiced the Mahayana Dharma for twenty kalpas, but later had his eyes taken by a heretic and was unable to practice the bodhisattva conduct, eventually abandoning it and passing into nirvana in the Hearer Vehicle. If there were only one lineage, why would some be able to practice the Mahayana while others could not? It should be that everyone is able to practice. Therefore, some are able to practice, and some are not able to practice, so it is said that the lineages of the three vehicles exist separately. This is the third reason. Because the differences in results are observed. In this way, it is also observed that there are three kinds of good and bad results. What are the three? Like the small enlightenment of the Hearers, the intermediate enlightenment of the Solitary Buddhas, and the supreme enlightenment of the Mahayana. Because three kinds of good and bad results are observed, the causes that produce them must also be of three kinds. In the world, like rice and barley, and various kinds of fruits, different fruits appear, and their causes are not singular but have various causes. Similarly, because there are three kinds of enlightenment, their cause, the lineage, must also be of three kinds. If there were only one lineage, why would there be three kinds of results? This is the fourth reason. Because the realms of sentient beings are different, the differences in realms are immeasurable. As it is said in the Sutra of the Heap of Rilu. The heap of Rilu refers to the heap of Brura. As it is said in the Sutra Explaining the Heap of Rilu, the Blessed One said: Just like this, monks, there is a heap of Rilu, about one yojana in height and one yojana in width. From that heap of Rilu, some people take out one Rilu every hundred years or more than a hundred years. This Rilu belongs to the realm of the Hearers, this Rilu belongs to the Solitary
