The fear of falling and the fear of death; this is the fourth quality. As for "supreme wisdom and bliss," when one attains forbearance of the unborn dharma on the eighth ground, one obtains a great manifestation of spontaneously accomplished non-conceptual wisdom, so it is called obtaining supreme dharma and bliss, this is the fifth quality. Moreover, the example of abiding spontaneously in non-conceptual wisdom is like that shown by a great ship on the ocean. As for "supreme wisdom and bliss": One obtains the supreme, most excellent, and eternal dharmakāya, which is a collection of virtues; One also reverses karmic imprints and obtains liberation from saṃsāra and nirvāṇa. As for this, after passing the ten grounds and reaching the state of Buddhahood, one also obtains the great collection of the most excellent and eternal dharmakāya, which is a collection of virtues; this is the sixth quality. In the state of Buddhahood, one also obtains the reversal of all karmic imprints; this is the seventh quality. One also obtains liberation from saṃsāra and nirvāṇa; this is the eighth quality. The dharmakāya is the source from which the twelve branches of scripture arise, so it is called the great collection of dharma. The great dharmakāya, that is, the body of liberation of the śrāvakas, and because it is the foremost of all dharmas of the world and beyond, it is called the most excellent. The dharmakāya abides between the limits of saṃsāra, the limits of sentient beings, and the limits of space, so it is called the eternal body. At the time of Buddhahood, because one realizes the selflessness of the person, one abandons the karmic imprints of affliction; because one realizes the selflessness of phenomena, one abandons the karmic imprints of knowledge, so one reverses all karmic imprints. At the time of Buddhahood, because one obtains non-abiding nirvāṇa, it is called liberation from saṃsāra and nirvāṇa; saṃsāra is cyclic existence, one is liberated from cyclic existence and does not abide in cyclic existence. Nirvāṇa is liberation from suffering, one is liberated from liberation from suffering and also does not abide in liberation from suffering, this is the meaning. Therefore, because one possesses wisdom, even though one abides in cyclic existence, one is not stained by the faults of cyclic existence, so one does not abide in cyclic existence. Because one possesses compassion, one does not merely enter nirvāṇa like the śrāvakas, so one does not abide in nirvāṇa. Because this pacifies, it is most peaceful, this is on the first ground.
