To view in oneself is to abide in the great view, the great meaning. If asked, why is it called great meaning in what kind of view? The answer is: therefore, it is said to be of great meaning because it is the cause of accomplishing the meaning of all sentient beings. The views of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas cannot be the cause of accomplishing the meaning of all sentient beings, therefore they are not of great meaning. Bodhisattvas view themselves and others as equal, and can be the cause of benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, therefore it is called great meaning. The view of no-self is the nature of meaninglessness. Because the view of the destructible aggregates, which is the cause of becoming meaningless, is cut off, therefore it is the meaning of the view of no-self. To view in oneself is of great meaning. Viewing oneself and sentient beings as equal, thinking that this mind is oneself, abiding in the view of great meaning, therefore it is called viewing in oneself. No suffering arises from one's own continuum. A Bodhisattva who has entered the first ground can also be called without suffering. Why is this so? Because they have abandoned the three and eight kinds of sufferings that exist in their own continuum. Arising from the continuum of all sentient beings is extreme suffering. A Bodhisattva can also be called extremely suffering. How is this understood? Bodhisattvas must eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings, and if they see sentient beings suffering, driven by compassion, the Bodhisattva themselves will feel pain in their hearts, therefore they are also called extremely suffering. Mind liberation is through the path of seeing. A Bodhisattva can also be called mind liberation. How is this understood? Because the afflictions that are to be abandoned by the path of seeing, which exist in one's own continuum, are abandoned by the path of seeing, therefore it is called liberation by supreme liberation. By supreme liberation, that is, by the unsurpassed vehicle. This liberation is not the liberation obtained by the Sravaka's path of seeing realizing the selflessness of the person, but the liberation obtained by the path of seeing of the Mahayana path realizing the selflessness of both person and phenomena, therefore it is called supreme liberation. Bound tightly for a long time

Upon "etc." The Bodhisattva can also be called one who is bound by a tight bond for a long time. Why is that? Because sentient beings are bound by afflictions such as attachment and by attachment to the qualities of desire. Until sentient beings are liberated from these bonds, the Bodhisattva himself will not be liberated, nor will he be freed, but will always remain in the three realms. Therefore, it is called bound by a tight bond for a long time. The so-called "liberated by the supreme liberation" means not dwelling in samsara. The so-called "bound by a tight bond for a long time" means not dwelling in nirvana. In essence, it refers to non-abiding nirvana. Upon "like the sky, the realm of sentient beings," etc. The Bodhisattva can also be called one who does not make an end to suffering. How so? Just as the realm of space is infinite, so too is the realm of sentient beings infinite. Just as the realm of sentient beings is infinite, suffering is also seen as infinite. Therefore, the Bodhisattva never ends the suffering of sentient beings, and is also called one who does not make an end to suffering. Upon "entering sentient beings," etc. Even so, does the Bodhisattva not liberate sentient beings from suffering because he does not see the end of suffering? Not so. It means that in order to liberate sentient beings from suffering, the Bodhisattva will enter samsara again. The so-called "acting in this way is the endlessness of sentient beings" means that sentient beings are as endless as the sky. Just as sentient beings are endless, in order to liberate sentient beings from suffering, the Bodhisattva also endlessly devotes himself to the benefit of sentient beings. Upon "the Bodhisattva is the opposite of this," etc. Worldly people, even the suffering of a short lifetime, and their own suffering, are difficult to bear and endure. How much more so the endless suffering of samsara, and the suffering of immeasurable sentient beings, how can they bear it? They cannot bear it. The Bodhisattva is the opposite of this. How is it the opposite? The Bodhisattva bears the mass of suffering of all sentient beings.
