Moreover, the five aggregates are also of the nature of suffering, because realizing that there is no difference from the nature of suffering, it is called realizing the equality of suffering. The realization of the equality of selflessness and the realization of the equality of suffering, these two, show the realization of the truth of suffering. Among them, the truth of suffering is the aspect of impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. If one realizes according to the four aspects, then one has realized the truth of suffering. So how can one realize the truth of suffering by realizing according to two aspects? Like this, whatever is impermanent is suffering, therefore one should observe that the aspect of impermanence is included in suffering. Whatever is selfless is empty, therefore one should also observe that the aspect of emptiness is included in the aspect of selflessness. In this way, it indirectly shows the realization of the four aspects of truth. Because the thought of wanting to treat one's own and others' suffering equally is the same, it is called equal action. For example, one wants to abandon one's own aggregates of suffering and the truth of the origin of suffering, which is the cause of suffering, and similarly, one also wants to abandon the aggregates of suffering of sentient beings and the truth of the origin of suffering, which is the cause of its arising. Therefore, it is called equal action. This shows the abandonment of the truth of the origin of suffering. Just as one treats oneself, because one does not expect others to repay, it is called equal without expecting repayment. For example, the Bodhisattva himself places others on the path of truth and the cessation of truth, and helps them with excellent benefits, but does not expect others to repay him. Similarly, he places other sentient beings on the path of truth and the cessation of truth, and even if he helps them with excellent benefits, he will not think that I have helped them, nor will he expect their repayment. Therefore, it is called equal without expecting repayment. This shows the practice of the path of truth and the manifestation of the cessation of truth. Just as they realize, being equal to others through realization, for example, just as the Bodhisattvas who have entered the first ground realize the realm of Dharma, oneself and other

Likewise, having realized the mind of equality, similarly, the Bodhisattva who has entered the first ground also realizes the Dharmadhatu and realizes the mind of equality between self and others. Because the realization of the Bodhisattva who has entered the first ground is the same as that of other Bodhisattvas, he is called equal to other Bodhisattvas. In the phrase, "He sees all conditioned phenomena of the three realms as unreal, merely conceptualized," "He" refers to the Bodhisattva who has attained the first ground and obtained the five kinds of equality. The "conditioned phenomena of the three realms" refers to the five aggregates of the desire realm, the five aggregates of the form realm, and the four aggregates of the formless realm, etc. All phenomena of the three realms are seen as merely unreal, completely conceptualized, and are seen as merely the exhaustion of mental phenomena. They see that there is no phenomenon other than mind and mental phenomena. Therefore, the Sutra of Ten Grounds also says, "O sons of the Victorious Ones, these three realms are only mind." If it is said to be only mind, then with what wisdom can it be seen? Therefore, it is said, "Wisdom is extremely pure, seen by the meaning of non-duality." That is to say, conditioned phenomena are only mind, and are also seen by non-conceptual wisdom, extremely pure non-dual vision. Among them, because that wisdom is transcendent and non-conceptual, it is called extremely pure. That wisdom sees the meaning of no grasping and no clinging, and because there is no grasper and grasped in that wisdom, it is called the meaning of non-duality. In reality, non-conceptual wisdom sees all phenomena of the three realms as if they were the face of the sky. Pure worldly wisdom sees all conditioned phenomena of the three realms as merely the exhaustion of mind and mental phenomena. In the phrase, "That absence of existence, having seen, is purified by abandonment," "that absence" refers to the absence of grasper and grasped. "Existence" refers to the existence of emptiness after abandoning grasper and grasped. That is to say, at the time when the path of seeing arises on the first ground, one sees the nature of emptiness, which is completely accomplished by being separated from grasper and grasped, thereby abandoning all afflictions to be abandoned, and at that time one sees that it is pure.
