It means understanding the meaning like a sapling. Seeing both the characteristics of self and generality as mere mental constructs is what it means to have reached the stage of warmth. The individual characteristics of phenomena are, for example, the individual characteristic of form along with its attainment, and the individual characteristic of feeling is the nature of experience, and so on. These include things like having a person, being without outflows, being conditioned, being unconditioned, being visible, being invisible, being obstructive, and being unobstructed. The general characteristics are impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. All of these are merely mental constructs, and they are not seen as existing apart from mental constructs. At that time, it is said that the stage of warmth is attained. It is also called warmth. It is also called obtaining the appearance of phenomena. It is also called acceptance of discrimination of phenomena. What is meant by saying that warmth and obtaining the appearance of phenomena are called acceptance of discrimination of phenomena? Therefore, because it is said, "It is the appearance of salty water," in accordance with appearance, it is said that this is a synonym for acceptance of discrimination of phenomena. That is to say, it appears that obtaining the appearance of phenomena is obtaining the acceptance of discrimination of phenomena. This is explained in the sutra "Explanation of the Flowing Water Full of Salt," using the example of a salty river. Obtaining the appearance of phenomena is said to be a synonym for obtaining the acceptance of discrimination of phenomena. The salty river refers to the continuous cycle in the three realms. The end of the salty river is like when the sun's rays fall on a salt crystal, it appears white and gray. Similarly, when one understands that all phenomena are merely appearances from the mind, and that they do not exist apart from the mind, it is not said to appear like the light of the sun and moon. It is called obtaining the appearance of phenomena. That is the meaning. In order to increase that appearance of phenomena, it means that apart from the bodhisattva's own discrimination, there is no other real thing of meaning. In order to greatly increase and expand that obtaining of the appearance of phenomena, one strives diligently without staying or stopping even for a moment. That is the peak stage.

It is called. Because the appearance of Dharma increases, and because it is understood that all these are only mind, and so on. Thus, after obtaining the appearance of Dharma that understands only mind, from initiating the diligence to make that appearance even more increase, under the even greater increase of the appearance of understanding only mind, one becomes separated from all the apprehended appearances of external objects, and understands only mind, and abides in the mind. When one abandons the distraction of the apprehended and obtains only the distraction of the apprehender, it is called the time of obtaining forbearance. At that time, one will quickly touch the immediately following samadhi, and so on. Thus, abiding in only mind, abandoning the distraction of the apprehended, and abiding only in the distraction of the apprehender, one also thinks thus: If there is no apprehended, then the apprehender should not exist either. Thus, one also immediately abandons the attachment to the distraction of the apprehender. One realizes the immediately following samadhi. That is the time of the supreme mundane Dharma. Why? If asked why it is called immediately following? The answer is: Because the distraction of the apprehender is immediately abandoned. Thus. Why is the supreme mundane Dharma called the immediately following samadhi? The answer is: Because the yogi abandons the distraction of the apprehended, and immediately abandons the distraction of the apprehender, and immediately enters the first ground. Therefore, it is called the immediately following samadhi, that is the meaning. Heat, etc., etc. Why, those are in order. Thus. The order of the four aspects of the decisive factors of heat, etc., should also be understood as follows: First is the heat stage. Then the peak stage. Then the forbearance stage. Then the supreme mundane Dharma. The order should be understood as such, that is the meaning. From here onwards, it indicates the path of seeing. Therefore, it is said: From the two graspings, liberated, the supramundane, unsurpassed, stainless, non-conceptual, wisdom, from then on, one obtains it. Thus it is said. From then on, it means that after the supreme mundane Dharma of the stage of application, that bodhisattva obtains wisdom, thus it is connected. And what kind of wisdom is that? It is liberated from the two graspings, the worl
