Therefore, it is called obtaining the state of self-nature. For clairvoyance, if one cultivates it, one obtains the supreme of fitness. That is to say, therefore, the yogi who has obtained the fundamental samadhi, in order to obtain the fruit of clairvoyance, cultivates the four fundamental samadhis. How does one cultivate them? One must eliminate the attachment to existence, the attachment to views, and the attachment to doubt. If one cultivates in this way, one obtains the supreme of physical fitness, that is, one obtains the supreme of samadhi fitness, and one obtains the supreme of clairvoyance fitness. That is its meaning. Among them, obtaining the supreme of samadhi fitness means entering the four dhyanas of the form realm according to the proper order, entering in reverse order from the proper order, and entering in transcendence. Obtaining the supreme of clairvoyance fitness means entering without hindrance into the activities of clairvoyance such as the divine eye. Because of the perfection of samadhi and clairvoyance, in order to hear from the Buddhas and to offer immeasurable offerings, he goes to the world realms. That is to say, having thus obtained the supreme of samadhi, the perfection of samadhi, and having obtained the supreme of clairvoyance, the Bodhisattva who has perfected clairvoyance, possessing magical powers, goes to the world realms by means of magical powers. Connecting it, why does he go? In order to perfect the accumulation of wisdom by hearing the sacred Dharma from the Tathagatas who dwell in the ten directions of the world realms, and to accumulate the accumulation of merit by offering those Tathagatas with material things such as alms and Dharma robes. Therefore, he goes to all the world realms. That is its meaning. To the immeasurable Buddhas, in countless kalpas, if one obtains the supreme of fitness, then with a mind of intimacy. That is to say, "from there" means "to those Tathagatas." "With a mind of intimacy" means "with a mind thinking of paying homage and making offerings to the Buddha." With such a mind, in countless kalpas, to the immeasurable Buddhas of the ten directions, together hearing the sacred Dharma, and the alms bowl.

By serving with offerings such as beds and Dharma robes, one will attain the supreme of fitness. What is that? It is the offering to the Tathagata by means of magical powers in all directions, and the supreme of fitness of meditative concentration that can generate the unobstructed power of direct perception. This is the meaning. The so-called "countless eons" means "immeasurable." In this case, the so-called "appearance of countless eons" does not refer to three countless, but to one countless eon that transcends counting. This is the meaning. Thereafter, before those, five qualities will be obtained. The so-called "five qualities will be obtained" means obtaining fitness of body and mind, and obtaining the perfection of meditative concentration and direct perception, and after obtaining countless offerings to the Tathagata, such a Bodhisattva who possesses these qualities will have a pure mind. Before obtaining the first ground, one will obtain the five qualities that are the signs of obtaining the first ground. This is the meaning. Becoming a pure vessel, and thereafter becoming unsurpassed. The so-called "becoming a pure vessel, and thereafter becoming unsurpassed" means that after obtaining the five qualities, one also becomes pure, that is, the Joyful Ground and the perfect Dharmakaya, and becomes a pure vessel, and the ground becomes unsurpassed. The term "unsurpassed" does not mean entering through the vehicle of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but for the sake of obtaining it initially, one enters through the gate of the Great Vehicle, hence the vessel is called unsurpassed. Why is it that the coarseness of the body can be practiced in every moment? The so-called "Why is it that the coarseness of the body can be practiced in every moment?" is to explain the five qualities. The term "coarseness of the body" refers to both the unfitness of the body and the unfitness of the mind. The unfitness of the body refers to the heaviness and discomfort of the body. The unfitness of the mind refers to the discomfort of the mind and its inability to abide in virtue. For example, just as a bather can cleanse and practice the stains of bathing agents, Dharma robes, and cloths in every moment, so too, they are like still water, able to cleanse and repair the unfitness of the body in every moment. This is one quality. Of body and mind
