It refers to the dharma nature of form and the dharma nature of Bodhi, considering their self-nature to be one. The so-called ignorance refers to examining the dharma nature of Bodhi. Ignorance and action are said to be one because when ignorance ceases, the nature of ignorance will transform into Bodhi, and ignorance also has the dharma nature of emptiness, and Bodhi also has the dharma nature of emptiness. Because the dharma nature of emptiness is not different, it is considering the similarity of dharma nature, considering ignorance and Bodhi to be one. In order to explain the meaning of desire arising from desire, it is said, "Because desire, etc., when established as it should be, they will be liberated from it, therefore they arise from it," etc. In the conventional truth, all the afflictive dharmas such as desire are unwholesome, possessing many sufferings, accompanied by disease, accompanied by strife. If afflictions such as desire arise from the mind, various sufferings such as birth will arise. These afflictions such as desire are the opposite of wholesome dharmas, therefore they should be abandoned. Like this, when one attends to it properly, attending to it properly can be established. If one realizes that the self-nature of desire, etc., is faulty, one can be liberated from afflictions such as desire. Therefore, because desire arises from desire, it is from that aspect that I do not say that desire arising from desire is something else. Or, because the afflictive dharmas such as desire, in the ultimate truth, are attended to properly as the nature of emptiness, non-arising, and non-ceasing, and are established from practice, one can be liberated from the afflictions of desire. Therefore, considering that point, it is said that desire arises from desire. The attention of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is refuted with two verses. The attention of the Bodhisattva is to turn away from Nirvana and face Samsara. The attention of the Shravakas is to face Nirv

Turning towards Nirvana and turning away from Samsara, therefore, Bodhisattvas abandon the thoughts of the Shravakas, that is, turning towards Nirvana and turning away from Samsara. In order to abandon it, the meaning is explained by two verses. If for the sake of the world, even entering the realm of hell, fierce suffering will not harm the sons of the Victorious One. The meaning is that if a Bodhisattva enters the hell realm of sentient beings and dwells in hell for the benefit and welfare of sentient beings, the intermediate and final sufferings of hell will not harm him. What need is there to mention that even the extreme suffering of hell will not harm his body and mind, nor will it hinder him from attaining unsurpassed Bodhi. The merits of peace, the faults of existence, the initial thoughts, and various virtuous discriminations will harm those with wisdom. The meaning is that the "abandonment of the lower vehicle" is first explained, and the abandonment of the lower vehicle refers to the thoughts of the Shravakas and the thoughts of the Pratyekabuddhas. That is, regarding the peaceful Nirvana, it is regarded as the merit of happiness and abundance, and Samsara, that is, regarding Samsara as suffering. These two thoughts will harm the wise Bodhisattvas, that is, discriminating thoughts about the Paramitas and the Bhumis, and will hinder the attainment of unsurpassed Bodhi, so this thought should be abandoned. In order to explain this meaning with the second verse, wise people will not create obstacles at any time while dwelling in hell for the immaculate and pure Buddha Bodhi. And so on, saying "wise people" means Bodhisattvas. The Bodhi to be attained by the Bodhisattvas is called immaculate because it has abandoned all afflictions and cognitive obscurations. The wisdom that has no attachment or obstruction to all knowable objects is called the perfection of omniscient wisdom. Immaculate indicates the perfection of abandonment, and perfection indicates the perfection of wisdom. To attain such Bodhi
