On the one hand, the Blessed One rebukes, saying that giving cannot merely obtain enjoyment, nor can it obtain unsurpassed Bodhi. On the other hand, in order to make those stingy people, who are unwilling to give even a little, able to be free from stinginess, it is praised that giving can obtain perfect enjoyment and so on. As an antidote to the obscuration of indulging in desire, the Blessed One proclaimed a special praise for the perfect qualities of the Buddha-field. Those who are attached to the enjoyment of the five desires of the world and are unwilling to give are called practitioners of desire. Holding the enjoyment and wealth of the three realms as supreme and excellent, it obstructs the attainment of transmundane wealth and enjoyment, therefore it is an obscuration. As an antidote to it, the perfect qualities of the Buddha-field are especially proclaimed. For example, the ground of the Buddha-field is also made of precious jewels, there are garments of the gods, such as Kalandika, which are soft to the touch. Adorned with rows of wish-fulfilling trees, it has various nectar pools, and one eats food with a hundred flavors. It is said that even if all the beings of the three thousand great thousand worlds eat until the end of the kalpa, it will not be exhausted. Hearing these, one will regard worldly enjoyment as if it were vomit, therefore it can become an antidote to desire. As an antidote to the obscuration of pride, the Blessed One proclaimed a special praise for the perfect qualities of other Buddhas. Some beings are proud and complacent because of their enjoyment, lifespan, and appearance, and in reality, they hold the five aggregates of appropriation as supreme and excellent. For example, gods, dragons, yakshas, etc., are proud because of their vast form and power, as well as wealth, etc., thinking, "I have a beautiful form, pleasing, and have great power," and even think that there is no one more superior than themselves. Such a thought obstructs the attainment of the body of the Tathagata and perfect wisdom, therefore it is called an obscuration. As an antidote to it,

Thus, the Tathagata especially praised the qualities of other Buddhas, praising the Tathagata's body as being like the orb of the moon, adorned with the thirty-two marks and eighty minor signs, possessing perfect enjoyment, and the power of the body, with one finger joint having the strength of many fragrant elephants. Having received such praise, seeing that our individual strength and appearance, etc., are not so great, we will become without arrogance. As an antidote to being obscured by regret, if someone harms the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, they will all go to the heavenly realms, so it is said. Some, due to not understanding, harm the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, and later, remembering that doing so is a sin, thinking that the sins I have committed are unreasonable, and thinking that I will fall into the lower realms, feel regret. In this way, because the mind is disturbed by regret and sorrow, one will not engage in virtue, and because one has not relied on the antidote to regret, it is an obscuration. As its antidote, even if one harms the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, one will go to the heavenly realms, so it is said. Having heard that, one will be free from regret and will abandon regret. How so? Like this, even if one harms them, one will be born in the heavenly realms, what need is there to mention if one benefits them even slightly? If one benefits them slightly, faith in the Buddha and Bodhisattvas will arise, and one will also engage in virtue. As an antidote to the obscuration of uncertain distinctions, it is said that the great Shravakas will be prophesied to become Buddhas, and that there is only one vehicle. Which are the uncertain Bodhisattva lineages? Those who previously practiced the Bodhisattva conduct, but later were encouraged by Shravaka and other spiritual friends to practice the Shravaka vehicle, thereby abandoning the Bodhisattva conduct, this is called uncertain distinction. Abandoning the Mahayana conduct itself obstructs the attainment of unsurpassed Bodhi, so it is an obscuration. As its antidote, the great Shravakas will be prophesied to become Buddhas, and it is said that there is only one vehicle. Regarding this, the Blessed One
