Accomplished by means of magical power. "Called being free from desire" refers to being free from attachment to desire. They cultivate the samadhi of not being reborn in samsara, and emanate by means of the magical power of samadhi. The emanation is born in samsara, accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings, accumulates the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and thus attains perfect enlightenment. This is its meaning. The so-called "holding birth as desired" means that it is not born from karma and afflictions, but from the power of aspiration. Earlier it was said that "the two, being free from desire and not free from desire, are weak." In order to show how these two are weak, because they like nirvana, it is thought that these two have entered ignorance. It means that these two who understand the meaning, because of the conduct of the Shravakas, are weary of samsara and like to directly see nirvana, so their wisdom is dull and they have entered ignorance for a long time in attaining unsurpassed enlightenment. How do they like nirvana? Therefore it is said: Later and later in my mind, practice with all actions. It means that my mind is the mind of afflictions and Shravakas. The so-called "later and later" means again and again. Those Shravakas who understand the meaning again and again arise the mind of Shravakas, afflictions, and weariness of samsara, and the present joy of nirvana, and constantly practice and cultivate this, but do not do the benefit of sentient beings, so it is called present joy in nirvana. Like this, believing in the Shravaka vehicle will also say this. Then after three countless kalpas, they enter the Mahayana and attain enlightenment, so it is called weak because they attain enlightenment for a long time. Those whose Shravaka lineage is uncertain are divided into two types: those who understand the meaning and those who do not understand the meaning. Those who understand the meaning are also divided into two types: those who are free from desire and those who are not free from desire. These two are born in samsara, do the benefit of sentient beings, accumulate the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and how to attain perfect enlightenment has already been said.
