Those who have completely abandoned the afflictions to be abandoned by desire, view, and meditation in the desire realm are the noble non-returners. Those who have not abandoned desire in the desire realm, the afflictions to be abandoned by view in the desire realm, and the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation have not been abandoned, are the noble stream-enterers and once-returners. Both those who have abandoned desire and those who have not, because of their dull faculties, will attain Nirvana after a long time, and are therefore called clinging. The Great Vehicle is definite renunciation. As it is said, "Those of uncertain Hearer lineage, who see or do not see the meaning of the vehicle, cultivate the practice of the Great Vehicle and manifest enlightenment, are said to be the arising of the Great Vehicle." Those Hearers who see the meaning, arising in the Great Vehicle, are also born in the three realms, and initially arise in the Great Vehicle for the benefit of sentient beings. To show how they are born in the three realms, it is said: "Having obtained the noble path, For the sake of completely dedicating to existence, Of inconceivable transformation, Also endowed with birth." This means that those who see the meaning of truth, whether they have abandoned desire or not, are born in samsara, also having previously cultivated the noble path, understood and attained it, dedicating it to become the cause of birth in samsara. For the sake of being born in samsara, therefore, their birth from one samsara to another is said to be endowed with the birth of inconceivable transformation. Someone says, the noble path is aversion to samsara, turning one's back on samsara, so how can the noble path itself be born in samsara and transform in samsara? This is true, one will not be born in samsara solely by relying on the noble path. For the noble non-returners who have abandoned desire in the desire realm, there are still remaining afflictions of the form and formless realms that have not been abandoned, and for the noble stream-enterers and once-returners who have not abandoned desire in the desire realm, there are also afflictions to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm that have not been abandoned, and afflictions of the two realms that have not been abandoned. These afflictions are enhanced by the power of dedicating the noble path to birth in samsara, and with afflictions as the cause, in samsara...

will also be born in samsara, that is to say, born as wished. How do the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, for those of uncertain Shravaka lineage, with or without desire, abandon the path of primarily meditating on Vipassana, which is in accordance with Nirvana, and practice the path of cultivating great compassion that views samsara? Therefore, cultivating the path of great compassion will lead to aversion to samsara and contemplation of Nirvana, thereby subduing the path of Vipassana and contemplating samsara. Taking hold of samsara again and again is called complete dedication to existence. Therefore, due to the power of great compassion, they are born in samsara. Therefore, their births are considered inconceivable. Because birth is inconceivable, it is said that their noble path will transform. The explanation of "the births of the noble ones are inconceivable" is that it is not due to the power of the path and afflictions that they are born, but the noble path itself becomes the cause of birth in samsara, therefore their births become inconceivable. Thus, it is explained that the nature of both those with and without desire being born in samsara is inconceivable. Now, in order to show how those who are not free from desire are born in samsara for the sake of sentient beings, it is said: One is also able to be born very well in that place by the power of pure aspiration. The "one" in this sentence refers to the Stream-enterer and Once-returner who are not free from desire. How are they born in samsara? They are born by the power of aspiration. That is, seeing sentient beings suffering in the three realms, and wishing to benefit sentient beings wherever they want to, just as they see it, may I be born there. Due to the power of aspiration, they will be born there, and after being born, they will benefit sentient beings, make them happy, accumulate the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and thus become enlightened. This is its meaning. In order to show how those who are free from desire are born in samsara,
