It has been shown not to be attached to extremes. The one called "knowing it is the same as this" means understanding the two kinds of selflessness as the same as this. The word "same" means realizing the path that is free from the two extremes. It means realizing the Middle Way. How is it understood? One should know that the person who is completely imputed does not exist, and that the phenomena that are completely imputed are non-existent and empty, and that is all. One should know that it is not that they do not exist in all aspects. Furthermore, one should know that the perfectly established nature is not non-existent. This shows that one is free from falling into the extreme of nihilism. Having thus become free from the extreme of superimposition, it is called thoroughly entering into that. Seeing the Mind-Only practitioner who is free from the person who is completely imputed and the phenomena that are completely imputed is called thoroughly entering into that. This is also realized in the stage of forbearance among the four stages of the stage of faith. Because at that time, one understands that forbearance is without inherent existence. Thus, in the stage of forbearance, one understands that the object of grasping does not exist, and therefore one obtains the samadhi that is solely directed towards it, and therefore it is established as thoroughly entering into that. The one called "clinging to" means that in the stage of forbearance, general objects such as form are non-existent, and one understands that only the nature of the grasper is Mind-Only, therefore only clinging is mind. Therefore, it is called "therefore the mind abides in it." As mentioned above, in the stage of forbearance, external objects are not perceived, and because one abides in Mind-Only, it is called the mind abiding in it. The one called "it does not appear in it" means that in the stage of forbearance, one understands that the object of grasping, the external object, does not exist, and in the supreme stage of worldly phenomena, there is no object of grasping, therefore there is no mind that clings to it, and one is also free from clinging to Mind-Only, therefore it is called it does not appear in it. The one called "that non-appearance is liberation, it is separated from the ultimate clinging" means that from then on, in the first ground, the object of grasping does not appear, and the grasper does not appear either. Abiding in the wisdom that does not cling to the grasper and the grasped is called liberation. Why? Because it is liberation because it is separated from the ultimate clinging, the clinging to the person and the clinging to the phenomena. The one called "that is also understood in the same way" means that understanding the two kinds of selflessness is all

Not only realizing that there is nothing in all places, but also realizing the Middle Way that is free from the two extremes is called similar knowledge. The word "only" in "grasping is only grasping" is to prevent the meaning of things like form being real, it is only mind and mental factors, and knowing that there are no external objects such as form other than that, this is only grasping, and it is realized at the stage of forbearance. In order to further explain other aspects of liberation, it is said, "If there is a basis, a collection, and an establishment." It means that it has a basis, a collection, and an establishment. Among them, relying on a virtuous friend in this life, listening to the Dharma, thinking, etc. are the basis. Accumulating countless kalpas of merit in the stage of adhimukti-caryā in previous lives is the collection. In the stage of adhimukti-caryā, properly considering all dharmas as impermanent, suffering, empty, and selfless is called establishment, which means having these three. The so-called "also only see the name" means that if you have these three, then in the stage of heat and the stage of peak, you will see that all dharmas are only names, that is, you will see that they are only words, only expressions, only names, only distinctions, and that dharmas have no self-nature. The so-called "only see the name" means that after that, in the stage of forbearance, you will see that all dharmas are only mind, only the name of the four aggregates, and you will not see any dharmas such as form other than that, so it is called only seeing the name, because at that time the object to be grasped has been abandoned. The so-called "seeing that, also not seeing" means that from then on, in the stage of the supreme mundane dharma, even the only name seen in the stage of forbearance is no longer seen, because at that time the clinging to only mind is also abandoned, because it has been realized that without the object to be grasped, there should be no grasper either. In this way, after abandoning the grasper and the grasped, in the first bhumi, abiding in the signless wisdom in which neither the grasper nor the grasped can be found is liberation, and there are other aspects of liberation as well.
