Those who have realized the selflessness of phenomena possess the Dharmakaya. Therefore, there is a distinction in attaining the Dharmakaya. By continuously engaging in the enjoyment of the Dharma within the mandala of the retinue, it is called the distinction of enjoyment. Regarding this, the Shravakas are unable to continuously engage in the enjoyment of the Mahayana Dharma in the mandala of the Bodhisattvas' retinue with the Sambhogakaya. The Tathagatas, however, are able to continuously engage in the enjoyment of the Mahayana Dharma in the mandala of the Bodhisattvas' retinue, therefore there is a distinction in enjoyment. Abiding in places like Tushita and accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings is called the distinction of activities. Regarding this, the Noble Shravakas are unable to abide in the palace of Tushita in a manifested body, demonstrate death and rebirth, and manifest enlightenment, etc., and accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. The Tathagatas, however, are able to abide in Tushita, descend into the womb, and manifest enlightenment, etc., demonstrating various manifestations, therefore there is a distinction in the distinction of activities. By this, one will understand the signified and the characteristics. Regarding this, these five dharmas of the yogi are called the signifier. Why are they called the signifier? Because these five characteristics of wisdom enable one to know the five signified aspects and the three characteristics, therefore they are called the signifier. Regarding the complete search for liberation, there are six verses. Regarding this, having cultivated the Noble Path, abandoned afflictions and suffering, and directly realized Nirvana, this is called liberation. Investigating what methods can be used to attain Nirvana is called the complete search for liberation. Merely for liberation, it is taught with six verses, that is its meaning. "The meaning of the place, the body is appearance, extremely transformed, without outflows, the realm and the seed are extremely transformed, that is also the place of pervasive movement." Regarding this, starting with the three lines of the verse "the seed is extremely transformed," the previously mentioned arising will be further explained, namely afflictions and knowable

The alaya with the habitual tendencies of obscurations and the habitual tendencies of the grasped and the grasper is called seed. If the alaya, free from the defilement of grasping and being grasped, transforms into another state, then the three kinds of phenomena also transform into another state. What are the three? Appearing as a place, appearing as an object, and appearing as a body. Among them, the place is the great earth of the container world. If it transforms into another state, it will appear as steep slopes or cliffs, etc., and the earth will appear thoroughly as crystal and lapis lazuli, etc. The object refers to the six objects from form to dharma. If they transform into another state, at the time of attaining Buddhahood, they will appear as various enjoyments such as wish-fulfilling trees. The body refers to the six faculties from the eye faculty to the mind faculty. If the six faculties transform into another state, then one faculty can also perform the function of all faculties, obtain one hundred and twelve qualities, and appear like the body of a Buddha. In this way, the uncontaminated realm where the three kinds of phenomena transform into another state is called liberation. Noble Shravakas also enter the place of liberation, Pratyekabuddhas also enter, and Bodhisattvas also enter, therefore it is also called the place of universal going. Because all individuals of the three vehicles enter the place of liberation. In order to explain other names of liberation, (it is said in the sutra): "The cessation of mind and extreme clinging, as well as discrimination, also transforms into four kinds of mastery, arising from the four non-discriminations and wisdom." Among them, mind refers to the afflicted mind that is associated with the four arising from afflicted mental factors, constantly clinging to the alaya consciousness as self. Extreme clinging refers to the five aggregates of consciousness from eye consciousness to body consciousness, which apprehend objects such as form. Discrimination refers to the consciousness that distinguishes "This is blue, not yellow." If these seven consciousnesses cease and transform into another state, then one will possess four kinds of mastery and obtain four kinds of mastery. What are the four kinds of mastery?
