Worldly people use materials like stones and wood without error, using them as they wish, without error. They do not mistakenly see them as horses and elephants, but correctly see them as stones and wood. They use them as they wish because they use them with attachment and fear. Similarly, even if it becomes very intense, it will not be reversed; yogis act as they wish. This means that, similarly, if one transforms into a state of being controlled by others, abandoning the duality of grasper and grasped, then yogis who abide in the state of non-reversal act without reversal and act as they wish. How do they act without reversal? Because they do not see the illusion of grasper and grasped, when would they act mistakenly? How do they act as they wish? Because from then on, they act without attachment and fear. Its appearance exists in it, its substance does not exist, therefore, for sounds and so on, there are statements of existence and non-existence. This means that its sound refers to materials like stones and wood that appear in the shape of illusory horses and elephants. In stones and wood, the appearance of being transformed into the form of horses and elephants is not non-existent, so one cannot say that illusion and so on exist. Although it is merely an illusory appearance, the substance of horses and elephants themselves does not exist, so one cannot say that it is non-existent. The substance is in it, it is not non-substance. This means that the sound of substance refers to materials like stones and wood that cause horses and elephants to appear. From stones and wood, the appearance of the shape of horses and elephants is merely an illusion, it is not non-existent, so it is said to be not non-substance. Non-substance is not substance itself. This means that although it is merely an illusory appearance, the substance of horses and elephants themselves does not exist, therefore one cannot say that the substance of horses and elephants themselves exists. Substance and non-substance have no difference, it is an expression of causes and so on. This means that although it is merely an illusory appearance, the substance itself does not exist, therefore substance and non-substance have no difference, they have the same meaning, it is an expression of illusion and so on. For example, if one examines that which exists merely as an illusory substance, then in ultimate truth, the nature of cows and so on

Because it does not exist, there is no difference between existence and non-existence, and it is said to be the same meaning. Any things like cows, etc., are actually non-existent, and the things that appear only as illusions are not non-existent. Because they exist, there is no difference between things and non-things, and they are the same meaning. "Not unreal, not that." The meaning of this sentence is that non-things exist only as illusions. That which exists only as an illusion does not have the self-nature of cows, etc., so it is called not that, meaning that it is not real. Among them, the things that exist as such appearances are the non-existence of things like cows, etc., showing that there is no difference between things and non-things. The things that appear only as illusions, such as horses and elephants, do not have the self-nature of cows, etc., so things and non-things are the same meaning. Cows, etc., do not exist, that is, they exist, and they exist as such appearances. The meaning is that although they nominally appear as cows, etc., the things that do not actually exist as cows, etc., and the things that appear only as illusions exist, so things and non-things are the same meaning. "Thus the two appearances exist in it, its non-things, therefore in existence and non-existence, form etc. should be declared." The meaning of this sentence is that, for example, the materials of illusion, wood and stone, have the illusion of appearing as horses and elephants. Similarly, the non-real parikalpita is the self-nature of paratantra. On it, the apprehended, etc., appear, and the apprehended and the apprehender exist only as illusions and as conventional truth. Therefore, it is also said that form etc. exist. Therefore, it is also said in the Madhyāntavibhāga-bhāṣya: "The non-real parikalpita exists." It means that the apprehended and the apprehender exist in conventional truth. In this way, the apprehended and the apprehender exist only as illusions in conventional truth, but in ultimate truth, the real existence of the apprehended and the real existence of the apprehender do not exist. Therefore, it is said that form etc. do not exist. Therefore, in the Madhyāntavibhāga-bhāṣya also
