Then, in what way should one examine and search for the reason for being like an illusion? Therefore, after searching for Suchness, it is related to explain the occasion of completely searching for Suchness as an illusion. Or, it is said in the Mahayana sutras that all dharmas are like illusions. In order to examine and search how all dharmas are like illusions, fifteen verses are composed. The meaning is like that. "Like an illusion, not truly conceived." It means that, for example, a magician, by the power of spells and medicines, causes illusory horses and elephants to appear, and the cause of their appearance, such as stones and wood, etc., is not actually true, but is merely conceived. Mind and mental events are interdependent and change, which is the characteristic of other-dependence. Why? Because stones and wood controlled by spells and medicines can also act as the cause of appearing as horses and elephants, similarly, other-dependence can also act as the cause of appearing as the grasper and the grasped, so it should be viewed like the nature of stones and wood. "Like what is done by illusion, two errors appear." It means that, for example, a magician, by the power of medicine and spells, manifests illusory forms such as horses and elephants from stones and wood, etc., similarly, the characteristic of imputation on other-dependence should be regarded as appearing as two errors, the two errors being the appearance as the grasper and the appearance as the grasped. "In the non-real imputation, there are two errors." It means that non-real imputation is the characteristic of other-dependence, and the two errors that appear on it are the characteristics of imputation. "As that is not in this, so it is accepted in the ultimate meaning." It means that the two truths, ultimate truth and conventional truth, which appear in the sutras, use the characteristics of the two truths. For example, the forms of illusory horses and elephants appear as horses and elephants from causes such as stones and wood, but the stones and wood themselves do not have the nature of horses and elephants. Similarly, in the characteristic of other-dependence, the nature of imputation, the grasper and the grasped, do not exist, the grasper

That which is separated from the apprehended and the apprehender, and becomes the nature of the perfectly established, is not considered the ultimate truth, that is its meaning. This explains the nature of the ultimate truth. As those are the objects, those are the conventional truths. For example, like the illusory tree, and the various shapes of horses and elephants appearing from stones, from the nature of other-powered, the nature of the imputed, the apprehended and the apprehender, all appearances are the conventional truth, that is its meaning. This shows the nature of the conventional truth. How is it that when that is not, its cause also appears? For example, by the power of the magician's mantra and medicine, horses and elephants etc. appear from stones and wood, and when the power of the mantra and medicine is exhausted, the shapes of horses and elephants disappear and do not appear, then the cause of the shapes of elephants etc. appears, and the horses and elephants are not seen, but the stones and wood are seen, that is its meaning. Likewise, when the state is completely transformed, the realization of non-existence becomes the object. Likewise, when the apprehended and the apprehender are realized to be non-existent, when the other-powered nature of the Alaya-consciousness is transformed, the nature of the perfectly established, which is separated from the two, becomes the object, for example, like seeing a rope when it is separated from seeing it as a snake. When the state is transformed, the meaning of the unreal imputed also becomes the object of truth. When the Alaya-consciousness is transformed, the two errors of the apprehended and the apprehender on the other-powered will disappear, and when liberated from the apprehended and the apprehender, at that time, the pure transcendental wisdom is obtained from behind, therefore, the unreal imputed, the meaning of the other will be realized without error. How is it realized? It is realized and seen as the nature of being separated from the two, that is its meaning. How from its cause, does the world act without error as desired? The word "that" refers to the appearance of the shapes of horses and elephants. Its cause is stones and wood etc. For example, the shapes that appear as horses and elephants from stones and wood, when these shapes do not appear, then
