Regarding the term "realization," at the time of the path of seeing, the first bhumi, realizing the dharmadhatu is how to understand the dharma, which is called understanding the dharma. Having understood the dharmadhatu in this way, realizing the merits of that understanding, such as seeing the faces of hundreds of tathagatas in a single moment, is called thoroughly realizing the establishment of all dharmas. This is also realized through correct view at the time of the first bhumi. Regarding "thoroughly realizing the established dharmas," from the second bhumi to the tenth bhumi, the dharmas that should be cultivated are also thoroughly realized, and its merits, such as seeing the faces of thousands of tathagatas in a single moment, are called thoroughly realizing the established dharmas. This is realized on the path of cultivation through correct understanding. Regarding "the mind that acts freely has three aspects," there are three aspects to the mind that acts freely: being able to freely overcome the obscurations of afflictions, being able to freely overcome the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, and being able to freely accomplish things in the present. Regarding "the obscuration of afflictions is extremely purified," it refers to afflictions such as desire that are to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. These afflictions themselves obstruct the attainment of liberation and nirvana, so they are called obscurations. Having abandoned these obscurations, later, not arising in the mindstream again is called the obscuration of afflictions being extremely purified. This shows the ability to freely overcome the obscuration of afflictions. Regarding "the obscuration of afflictions and knowledge is extremely purified," the obscuration of afflictions has already been explained above. Attachment to the dharmas of the grasped and the grasper is called the obscuration of knowledge. It obstructs the attainment of omniscient wisdom, so it is an obscuration. Having abandoned this obscuration and not arising again later is called the obscuration of knowledge being extremely purified. This shows the ability to freely overcome the obscuration of afflictions and knowledge. Regarding "the present accomplishment of qualities is extremely purified," qualities refer to the six superknowledges, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, and so on.

In order to attain these qualities, to eliminate obstacles and to realize these qualities, it is called the utterly pure manifestation of qualities, which shows the mastery over the manifestation of qualities. Regarding the complete search for the meaning of Suchness in the Dharma, there are two verses, namely, there are two kinds of Dharma: the completely defiled Dharma and the completely purified Dharma. The Suchness of these Dharmas is the non-inverted nature of these Dharmas, which is the nature of complete imputation, the nature of dependence, and the nature of complete accomplishment. These Dharmas can also be understood by attaining transcendental wisdom. After explaining the chapter on searching for mindfulness, what is the connection between explaining the chapter on completely searching for the meaning of Suchness in the Dharma? Because mindfulness, which is also called one-pointedness, samadhi, and equipoise, have the same meaning. The sutra says that if one attains the equipoise of mind, one will realize Suchness, so there is a connection between explaining the chapter on Suchness after the chapter on mindfulness. That nature, which is always free from the two, wherein the selflessness of persons and phenomena, emptiness, is called that nature. Emptiness, from the stage of ordinary beings to the stage of noble ones, is also free from the grasped and the grasper, so it is said to be always free from the two. Although it is always free from the grasped and the grasper, hating it as if it were the grasped and the grasper, this is the meaning of the nature of complete imputation. The place of error, the place of error is the nature of dependence, just as mistaking a rope for a snake, dependence is the cause of perceiving it as the grasped and the grasper, so it is called the place of error. Because dependence is perceived as the grasped and the grasper. Without elaboration, one cannot practice in all ways, without elaboration and unspeakable is the nature of complete accomplishment, the nature of complete accomplishment has no Dharma of the grasped and the grasper, so it is without elaboration. The nature of complete accomplishment cannot be described by names, sentences, and letters, so it is said that it cannot be spoken in all ways.
