Patience is the name for abandoning what was previously abandoned. From then on, the non-arising of afflictions in the mindstream is called non-arising. Alternatively, in the first bhumi, having realized the characteristic of the dharmadhatu pervading everywhere, abandoning the duality of grasper and grasped, obtaining non-dual wisdom is called perfect enlightenment. Meditating on it clearly and without forgetting in the mind is called meditating on the aspect of the appearance of perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, because it is done with mindfulness, this shows the limb of mindfulness as perfect enlightenment. Regarding "discriminating that very thing," "that very thing" refers to the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising, or non-dual wisdom. Knowing the characteristic of that wisdom without forgetting, without perversion, is called discrimination. Furthermore, at what time is it known? It is known at the time of the first bhumi. Because at that time, one realizes the characteristic of the dharmadhatu pervading everywhere. This shows the limb of discriminating dharma as perfect enlightenment. "Joy" means that upon realizing the dharmadhatu, the arising of a special joy is called joy. This is also because joy arises upon realization at the time of the first bhumi, so the name of the first bhumi is also called the Extremely Joyful Bhumi. This shows the limb of joy as perfect enlightenment. "Pliability" means that the extreme purification of the body and the extreme purification of the mind are called pliability. Among them, the pliability of the body means that the body is light and the complexion is comfortable for accomplishing one's own needs. The pliability of the mind means that there is no dullness or excitement, and it enters the realm of samadhi, and the mind is clear. This shows the limb of perfect pliancy as perfect enlightenment. "Mind abiding" means meditating on the aspect of mind abiding on the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising, or not forgetting that suchness. This shows the limb of samadhi as perfect enlightenment. "One should meditate on the aspect of equanimity" means that after the mind is placed in one-pointedness in that way,

Not meditating on the two, sinking and excitement, is called meditating on the aspect of equanimity, which shows the limb of equanimity and correct enlightenment. Among them, there are three aspects of equanimity: the initial stage of equanimity, the excellent stage, and the final stage. Among them, the initial stage of equanimity is when the two, sinking and excitement, make the mind unequal. The first mind that is obtained by abandoning sinking and excitement is called the initial stage of equanimity. From then on, abandoning sinking and excitement, the mind abides in equanimity, which is the intermediate stage. At that time, because there is no long-term meditation, there is a doubt that sinking and excitement will arise. The yogi meditates for a long time, and even meditates without the doubt of sinking and excitement arising, which is called the final stage of equanimity. Up to this point, the seven limbs of enlightenment have been shown. Initially meditating on the aspect of not being taken away by demons means that in the first bhumi, realizing the nature of the all-pervading dharmadhatu is called obtaining what is not taken away by demons. Thus, after realizing the dharmadhatu in the first bhumi, meditating on it until the tenth bhumi is called meditating on the aspect of obtaining what is not taken away by demons. Thus, because of meditating with correct view, this shows correct view. Meditating on the aspect of realizing the completely purified bhumi means that from the stage of adhimukti-carya-bhumi, the yogi listens and thinks. With the price of meditation, etc., realizing the dharmadhatu and obtaining the first bhumi, this first bhumi is called the completely purified bhumi. After that, the yogi rises from samadhi and thinks about how I realized the dharmadhatu, and realizes it through the order of listening, thinking, and meditating, thus understanding that it is meditating on the aspect of realizing the completely purified bhumi. Thus, because of correct thought, this shows correct thought. Meditating on the aspect of making others correctly know means that the yogi, with correct view and correct thought, explains in words and makes them understand for those who have not understood how to realize the dharmadhatu in the first bhumi, which is the aspect of making others correctly know.
