Understanding the five aggregates as impermanent, etc., is the eightfold noble path. Among them, understanding the five aggregates as impermanent, etc., through right view, is the meaning of this. The fruit of complete knowledge is liberation, that is, through right view, one understands the five aggregates as impermanent, etc., and thus is liberated from afflictions such as attachment. The liberation of the mind is the fruit of complete knowledge. Thorough realization is seeing the wisdom of liberation, that is, after the mind is liberated from attachment, etc., the wisdom of the liberation of the mind arises, which is called thorough realization. Entering into the contemplation of aspects, there are four aspects of contemplation and thirty-seven aspects of contemplation. In order to explain these four aspects of contemplation, it is said, "Meditating on the aspect of no-self in what," etc. The Shravakas, from the stage of practice with faith, meditate on the aspect of no-self of the person, limited to the five aggregates. The self conceived by the heretics does not exist, and the five aggregates themselves are also meditated upon as impermanent, suffering, empty, and selfless. Meditating on the aspect of no-self in phenomena, Bodhisattvas, from the stage of practice with faith, meditate on the aspect of no-self in phenomena, that is, contemplating that these phenomena such as form are merely born from the mind, like forms in a dream, etc. Meditating on the aspect of seeing,

When I meditate, it is called meditating on the aspect of wisdom. From this, there are thirty-seven aspects of meditation. When meditating on the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, it is called the thirty-seven aspects of meditation. These thirty-seven factors of enlightenment begin with the four mindfulnesses and end with the eightfold noble path. When meditating on the aspect of impurity, one contemplates the inner body, the outer body, and both the inner and outer bodies, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, filled with blood, pus, and so on. Contemplating decomposition, swelling, and so on, is called meditating on the aspect of impurity. This shows the mindfulness of the body. When meditating on the aspect of suffering, one contemplates feelings, whether they are pleasant feelings, painful feelings, or neither pleasant nor painful feelings, as always being suffering. This is called meditating on the aspect of suffering. Among these, pleasant feelings will eventually become the cause of suffering, thus possessing the suffering of change; painful feelings possess the suffering of suffering; and neither pleasant nor painful feelings possess the suffering of conditioning. Therefore, all feelings are suffering. This shows the mindfulness of feeling. When meditating on the aspect of impermanence, one contemplates the eight consciousnesses and mental factors, arising with desire in an instant and becoming without desire in an instant; arising with hatred in an instant and becoming without hatred in an instant; arising with delusion in an instant and becoming without delusion in an instant; becoming peaceful and becoming unpeaceful. This is called meditating on the aspect of impermanence. This shows the mindfulness of the mind. When meditating on the aspect of selflessness, there are two types of dharmas: defiled dharmas and purified dharmas. During samsara, there are only defiled dharmas such as desire. During nirvana, there are only purified dharmas such as faith, and no
