It is to abandon holding on to inverted clinging, and up to this point, the three causes are explained. Furthermore, the Sutra Pitaka explains the three trainings, which are: the training in higher morality, the training in higher mind, and the training in higher wisdom. Among them, the Vinaya of the Hearers is: the training in higher morality is to possess morality, to be restrained by the vows of individual liberation, to have perfect conduct and behavior, to regard even the slightest faults as fearful, and to learn in the places that have been properly taken up. The training in higher mind is the four concentrations of the form realm and the four attainments of the formless realm. The training in higher wisdom is to know the four noble truths as they truly are. According to the Mahayana view, the three, namely the discipline of vows, the discipline of gathering virtues, and the discipline of benefiting sentient beings, are called the training in higher morality. Samadhis such as the Akashagarbha and the Heroic Progress samadhis are called the training in higher mind. Non-conceptual wisdom is called the training in higher wisdom. This is the meaning of explaining the three trainings in the Sutra Pitaka of the Hearers and the Mahayana. The Vinaya is to accomplish higher morality and higher mind, the Vinaya is to purify higher morality and to realize higher mind. Purifying higher morality is because if one practices as the Vinaya says, then there will be no faults in morality. Possessing morality will gradually lead to obtaining samadhi such as non-regret. Possessing morality will lead to no regret. Without regret, one will obtain physical pliancy. Obtaining physical pliancy will lead to experiencing happiness individually. Experiencing happiness individually will lead to the mind becoming one-pointed, and therefore samadhi will manifest. Abhidharma is to accomplish higher wisdom, Abhidharma is the higher wisdom that knows the self and general characteristics of all phenomena without error.

It means to diligently practice and make it manifest. If asked, how does one practice higher wisdom? Therefore, it is said: in order to make the unerring completely manifest. It means that in the Abhidharma, the self and common characteristics of all dharmas are distinguished and explained without error. Therefore, by hearing it, one will generate wisdom that knows the nature of dharmas without error. Up to this point, the six reasons have been explained. Furthermore, the Sutra Pitaka explains "Dharma" and "Meaning." Among them, names, words, and letters are called "Dharma." What they express, such as the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are called "Meaning." Alternatively, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, etc., are called "Dharma." The four intentions and four hidden speeches are called "Meaning." Alternatively, the ten virtuous actions, which are the cause of attaining higher realms, are called "Dharma." The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, etc., which are the cause of attaining Nirvana, are called "Meaning." It means that the Sutra Pitaka explains both "Dharma" and "Meaning." The Vinaya "accomplishes" Dharma and Meaning, which means that the Vinaya makes Dharma and Meaning manifest. If asked, how does it make them manifest? Therefore, it is said: by diligently subduing afflictions, one completely realizes both. It means that by relying on the Vinaya and diligently subduing afflictions through methods such as meditating on impurity, one can realize the Dharma of the nature of words and letters, and the Meaning of the nature of aggregates and elements, or the Dharma of the nature of higher realms, and the Meaning of the nature of Nirvana. Therefore, the Vinaya makes Dharma and Meaning manifest. The Abhidharma is skilled in correctly explaining Dharma and Meaning, and is proficient in distinguishing without ambiguity. Correctly explaining Dharma and Meaning means explaining Dharma and Meaning to others. Being proficient in distinguishing without ambiguity means being proficient in not being inverted from the determination. It means that if one is proficient in the nature of Abhidharma, one will be proficient in unerringly explaining Dharma and Meaning to others. So, what meaning will be produced in brief from the Sutra Pitaka? Meaning in the Vinaya
