The meaning is like this. "All meanings are contained in all," which means: all refers to the five roots from the eye root to the body root. All meanings refer to the five objects from form to touch. Previously, when the roots were not pure, the eye root could only contact form, and could not contact other objects such as sound. When it transforms to another state and becomes pure, a single eye root, from being able to see form, to being able to hear sound, to being able to perceive touch, can do all the functions of other roots. This is the first way to obtain supreme accomplishment. "One hundred and twelve qualities arise," which means: one root also has one hundred and twelve qualities, which is the merit of one root having so many qualities. Just like it is said in the 《Arya Dharani Great自在王经》 and 《Saddharma Puṇḍarīka Sūtra》 and other scriptures. This is the second way to obtain supreme accomplishment. Refutation: If neither internal nor external objects exist, like the horns of a rabbit, how can the five roots transform to another state? Answer: In one's own seeds, whatever appearances arise are called two sources of birth. The Buddha said it like this. This is from a treatise that only explains consciousness-only. Its meaning is: from the alaya consciousness, there are habits and seeds of the grasped and the grasper, thereby producing the six consciousnesses from eye consciousness to mind consciousness, which is called the six internal sources. From these consciousnesses, from the eye consciousness, the appearance of form arises, and from the mind consciousness, the appearance of dharma arises, which is called the external source of birth. Therefore, even in the consciousness-only school, there is a distinction between internal and external sources of birth. When a Bodhisattva says that all of the three realms are only mind, through the stages of afflictions, thoughts, and meditation, etc., eliminating the attachment to form, thereby abandoning the inverted attachments to form, etc. Then, previously, the internal manifestations within each of the internal sources of birth

If one abandons perversion, it is called transformation into another state. Therefore, one obtains two kinds of supreme accomplishments, so even without a place, it can be transformed into another state, without contradiction. If the mind also transforms, then one will obtain supreme accomplishment. Regarding this verse, the view of the Hearers' Vehicle is that the six consciousnesses are called the mind faculty immediately after they cease. The view of the Great Vehicle is that one should not consider it that way, but rather as the afflicted mind. The meaning is that if that afflicted mind transforms into another state. In this regard, non-conceptual wisdom is fully endowed with and arises from the consciousness of the mind. The basis of the consciousness of the mind is the afflicted mind, just as the basis of eye consciousness is the eye faculty. As long as one is in the state of an ordinary being, when the afflicted mind has not transformed into another state, it is endowed with the four close afflictions such as the view of self, attachment to self, pride of self, and ignorance of self, and from the alaya consciousness, the inverted perceptions of self and what belongs to self arise. How does the afflicted mind engage in inverted perceptions? Therefore, the consciousness of the mind that relies on it also engages in inverted perceptions towards objects such as form, and even if there are no objects such as form, it still manifestly clings to them, thinking they exist. When that afflicted mind abandons the view of self and what belongs to self, and transforms into another state, becoming equality wisdom, then one obtains the supreme accomplishment, which is the meaning of this verse. In what dharma does one obtain accomplishment? Therefore, it is said: After accomplishment is wisdom, non-conceptual and without stain. The term accomplishment refers to the five faculties transforming into another state, being able to act on all objects, and obtaining one hundred and twelve qualities. Following refers to being together with that accomplishment, or abiding in accordance with that accomplishment. What abides together with accomplishment? It is non-conceptual, stainless wisdom. In this regard, when the alaya consciousness transforms into another state, it becomes non-conceptual wisdom, because there is no conceptualization of grasper and grasped.
