Therefore, the activities (of the Buddhas) are the same. Wanting to make wisdom appear. Regarding this statement, just as one ray of sunlight illuminates the entire world, similarly, other rays also spread and appear in all places covered by one ray, in the same way, the wisdom of one Tathagata pervades and illuminates all knowable things, and through the activity of emanation, brings beings to complete maturity. Similarly, other Tathagatas also illuminate and pervade all knowable things with wisdom, and through emanation, bring beings to maturity and complete maturity, this is the meaning of this statement. This shows the activity of emanation and other activities. If one ray of sunlight appears, it is like all rays appearing. Regarding this statement, for example, when one ray of sunlight appears, it is not that other rays do not appear, nor do they appear sequentially, but all rays appear simultaneously, this is the meaning of this statement. Similarly, the wisdom of the Buddhas, one should know that it arises. Regarding this statement, similarly, when the wisdom of the Buddha enters knowable things, it is not that some knowable things are known and some are not known, or that some knowable things are known first and some are known later, but all kinds of knowable things such as aggregates and elements are known simultaneously, this is the meaning of this statement. This shows the activity of wisdom entering. Just like the rays of the sun, entering without possessing. Regarding this statement, for example, the rays of the sun enter to illuminate the places to be illuminated, such as beings and continents, and when illuminating, they do not think, "These places will be illuminated by me, these places I will not illuminate," nor do they think, "These rays are my rays, this ray will illuminate everything," this is the meaning of this statement. Similarly, the wisdom of the Buddha, entering without possessing. Regarding this statement, similarly, having understood the selflessness of persons and phenomena, with the four wisdoms such as mirror-like wisdom that has purified afflictions and cognitive obscurations, when entering to give benefit and happiness to beings, there is no attachment to inner and self-grasping, this is the meaning of this statement. This shows the

This is to explain the inconceivable karma. As it is said: Just as the sun sends out a single ray of light, how it illuminates the world. It means that the sun is considered to have a thousand rays of light, but even one of those rays can illuminate all the realms and continents of the world. As it is said: Similarly, for all that is to be known, the Buddha's wisdom appears simultaneously. It means that, for example, just as in the center of a mirror, all the forms that are near it appear at the same time, so too, for all the dharmas that are to be known, such as the aggregates and elements, wisdom enters simultaneously, and without obstruction, all are comprehended at the same time. This is to explain the karma of wisdom in its various forms. As it is said: Just as the sun's rays are obscured by clouds and the like. It means that, for example, although the sun's rays shine everywhere, if they are obscured by clouds, houses, and shelters, the rays will not appear, but it is not that the sun's rays have obscured them and made them not appear. As it is said: Similarly, the Buddha's wisdom is obscured by sentient beings who possess faults. It means that, similarly, although the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, send forth the light of wisdom everywhere for the benefit of sentient beings, sentient beings do not see the Nirmāṇakāya and the like, because the minds of sentient beings possess the obscurations that prevent them from becoming vessels, and the faults of the five conceptual thoughts and the like, so they do not see. This is to explain the karma of wisdom not entering. As it is said: Just as by the power of knots, colored patterns appear on cloth. It means that, for example, although the nature of white cloth is the same, if the knots are untied and then dyed, the places where the knots have not been untied will be stained with color, while the places where the knots have been untied will show bright patterns, just like that. As it is said: Similarly, by the power of aspiration, the wisdom of liberation appears as a bright pattern. It means that, similarly, although the uncontaminated realm of reality is of one taste in emptiness, due to the power of the vows made in the past when one was a Bodhisattva, and the accumulation of merit and wisdom, the wisdom of liberation of the Tathāgatas will appear as a bright pattern, the wisdom of
