Like a great source of origin. That is to say, having abandoned the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, manifest enlightenment is like a source of precious jewels. How so? For example, just as various kinds of precious jewels arise from a source of precious jewels, so too, from manifest enlightenment arise powers and fearlessness, as well as non-mixture and the precious jewel of the Dharma of the aspects of enlightenment. This shows the function of the place of precious jewels such as the aspects of enlightenment. Like a great cloud for the benefit of sentient beings' virtuous crops, it should be known. That is to say, just as rain falls from a great cloud and ripens various kinds of crops, so too, in the minds of sentient beings, the perfections and so forth act as the cause for the arising of virtuous crops. Therefore, the uncontaminated realm should be known to be like a great cloud. This shows the function of ripening sentient beings. Because of the complete perfection of merit and wisdom, it should be known to be like the full moon. That is to say, at the time of the full moon, the parts of the moon are complete, and there is nothing at all that needs to be completed. In the same way, at the time of manifest enlightenment, there is not even a little bit of the accumulation of merit and wisdom that is not complete. The accumulation of merit is completely complete, and the accumulation of wisdom is completely complete, therefore it is like the full moon. This shows the function of going to the limit. In order to illuminate wisdom, it should be known to be like the great sun. That is to say, the sun has no size, and all it does is illuminate the four continents. It is not possible for there to be a great sun, but assuming that it illuminates all the realms of the three thousand great thousand worlds, it is called the great sun. For example, just as the great sun illuminates the three thousand worlds, so too, from the wisdom of the Tathagatas, the rays of light of the teaching of the holy Dharma arise and illuminate the minds of all sentient beings in the ten directions, therefore it is like the great sun. This shows the function of teaching the Dharma. The rays of light of the sun's mandala.

It is called "Rays of the Sun Wheel." Rays enter in two ways: merging into one and acting as one, which is its meaning. As in "unlimited merging like that," it shows merging into one, which is the meaning of merging into one. Those rays initially arise from the sun wheel. At the time of arising, they arise simultaneously, without difference or dissimilarity. The support also relies on the sun wheel, and all the rays make it manifest. When one ray performs the function of manifestation, the function of manifestation of all other immeasurable rays is also performed by that one ray, which is the meaning of performing the function of merging. As in "constantly action one enters," it shows acting as one. The meaning of acting as one is that one ray dries up mud and ripens crops, and similarly, the second and third rays, etc., do not do anything else, but only perform the function of drying and ripening, so it is acting as one. As in "likewise in the realm without outflows," it means that, like that, when the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, abide in the realm without outflows, the Tathagatas also merge into one and act as one. It shows the immeasurable merging into one of the Buddhas. Similarly, although the activities of the Tathagatas are immeasurable, whenever one Tathagata completely ripens one sentient being, there is no difference in the Dharmakaya, because the Dharmakaya is of one nature. At that time, all the Tathagatas also completely ripen sentient beings, which is the meaning of merging into one. As in "in all actions, the agent is one," it shows the meaning of the agent being one. The agent being one is, for example, when one Tathagata emanates and dries up afflictions like mud in the mindstream of sentient beings and ripens virtuous crops, similarly, other Tathagatas also only perform that activity, and do not perform other activities.
