If the nature of the imputed is proven to be non-existent, then the phenomena included in the dependent arising in the Great Vehicle will be easily understood without effort. Therefore, this is the explanation of what is to be known. An example similar to this is like a lotus blooming. Just as seeing a lotus opening by the sun's rays without effort brings great joy, so too, if the nature of the imputed is proven to be non-existent, then the nature of the dependent arising will also be easily realized without great effort. If realized, the wise will experience great joy. What is to be known has been explained. The nature of the dependent arising itself should be contemplated. Why? Because the nature of mind and mental factors in the dependent arising is non-existent, one should contemplate properly by abandoning non-virtuous dharmas such as attachment and cultivating virtuous dharmas such as faith. An example similar to this is like a hungry person eating well-prepared food. Just as a well-prepared food with excellent aroma, color, and taste brings great joy when eaten by a hungry person, so too, with regard to the dharma of dependent arising, one should contemplate properly by abandoning non-virtuous dharmas such as attachment and cultivating the practice of virtuous dharmas such as faith, which will bring great joy. Contemplation has been explained. The nature of the perfectly established has two aspects: the nature of suchness and the nature of non-conceptual wisdom, the aspect of enlightenment. Among these, suchness is called inconceivable. How it is inconceivable has already been explained. Furthermore, that suchness is inconceivable also comes from the sutras. In the "Noble Jewel Cloud Sutra," a Bodhisattva who eliminates all obscurations asked: "Bhagavan, what is meant by 'thatness'?" The Bhagavan replied: "Son of good family, it is the supreme term for the true meaning." He asked: "Bhagavan, what is meant by 'true'?" The Bhagavan replied: "Son of good family, what is called 'true' is the supreme term that is not deceptive." He asked: "Bhagavan,

What is meant by "the non-deceptive Tathagata"? The Blessed One said: Whatever is not mistaken is itself non-inverted. Asked: Blessed One, what is "that"? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, those dharmas are known by each individual themselves, and cannot be expressed in letters. Why is that? Because that dharma is completely beyond all letters, completely beyond all speech, completely beyond the realm of words, completely beyond the path of words, free from all actions, free from all speculation, immeasurable, all speculation cannot enter, completely beyond the realm of speculation, completely beyond the realm of children, completely beyond the realm of consciousness, it is the realm of the inconceivable. Thus, the dharma called "suchness" is completely beyond the realm of elaboration, speculation, and consciousness, and because children cannot contemplate it, it is said to be inconceivable. An example of something similar to it is: Like hearing a pleasant letter. Just as a letter full of words and meaning, when heard and seen by the wise, gives rise to great joy, so too, the dharmadhatu of suchness from the first bhumi onwards, when seen by bodhisattvas, will give rise to great joy, and the inconceivable has been explained. The nature of non-conceptual wisdom, the aspect of enlightenment, is the nature of being completely accomplished without inversion, the meaning to be understood by the noble ones, to be known by each individual themselves. An example of something similar to it is: Like opening a treasure chest. Just as opening a chest full of various jewels, seeing various jewels will give rise to great joy, so too, when bodhisattvas who see thusness, having abandoned the two obscurations, the jewel-like dharma of the non-conceptual wisdom aspect of enlightenment appears in the mindstream, great joy will arise. Thus, it is explained by the three natures. Now, how is it explained by establishing the five dharmas and persons? With this person
