, because both action and performance are inherently the Alaya-consciousness. Non-deviation in non-regression is the function of the perfectly established nature. Why? Because non-discriminating wisdom is free from distraction to existence and non-existence, and because it is perfectly established without deviation, it is included in the perfectly established nature. Non-deviation in self and general characteristics is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, because it is the nature that transcends the realm of discrimination. Non-deviation in impurity and purity is the difference in the state of the Dharmadhatu nature. Non-deviation in the adventitious is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, for that which is naturally pure like the sky, these two, the all-pervasive defilement and the complete purification of the mind, are established as adventitious. Non-deviation in fearlessness and absence of arrogance is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, because it is not artificial like the sky, so there is no decrease or difference. Thus, these ten non-deviations should be understood as the three natures. These ten non-deviations just mentioned should be combined in order with the ten Vajra words spoken in the Sutras. What are the ten Vajra words? They are existence and non-existence, non-deviation, abiding, illusion-like nature, non-discrimination, self-luminous nature, all-pervasive defilement, complete purification, like the sky, without decrease, and without superiority. Among them, because it destroys all deviations and is not destroyed by them, it is similar to a Vajra, therefore it is called Vajra, which is the knowledge of non-deviation just mentioned. The Vajra is realized by these, understood, so they are the Vajra words, which is synonymous with the Vajra explanation. If letters, meanings, and mind, etc., are themselves called the sound of words, therefore they are the Vajra words, which is synonymous with the object of focus. Also, those words that are indestructible like the Vajra are the Vajra words.

These are called "all." Here, in order to combine these non-reversed aspects with the Sutra Pitaka, the Vajra words are arranged. Alternatively, the Vajra words are shown to explain through ten aspects of non-reversal. Among them, the meaning of letters, existence and non-existence, are existence and non-existence. Therefore, regarding the non-reversal of letters, one should recognize existence and non-existence from within the Vajra words. The appearance of duality, the fully conceptualized, that is the meaning here. That is to say, saying "it does not exist in that way," this is non-reversal here. Thus, the non-reversal regarding meaning should be combined with non-reversal from within the Vajra words. The very act of mental engagement resides here. Therefore, the non-reversal regarding mental engagement should be combined with what is called "resides" from within the Vajra words. For those whose minds do not scatter towards things like illusion, this non-reversal should be combined with the very nature of illusion from within the Vajra words. The self-nature of the Dharmadhatu is non-conceptual because it is free from conceptualization. Therefore, the non-reversal regarding self-nature should be viewed as non-conceptual itself. The generality of the Dharmadhatu is naturally luminous. Therefore, the non-reversal regarding generality is summarized as naturally luminous. The distinction of the Dharmadhatu's impurity and the distinction of purity are complete contamination and complete purification. Therefore, the non-reversal regarding impurity and purity is included within complete contamination and complete purification. Regarding the fact that both complete contamination and complete purification arise temporarily in the Dharmadhatu, this non-reversal should also be combined with the very nature of space. In the two times of complete contamination and complete purification, the Dharmadhatu does not decrease or increase. Therefore, the non-reversal regarding not being afraid and not being arrogant should be combined with "no decrease" and "no particular excellence" from within the Vajra words. Thus, these ten non-reversals should be combined with the ten Vajra words in order. The establishment of the body of Vajra words is finished.
