Everything enters into all kinds of conceptualizations. Therefore, the wisdom that recognizes only in name is the antidote to all conceptualizations, which is called non-inversion on its own nature. However, if one does not know whether this self-nature refers to the self-nature of the ultimate truth or the conventional truth, therefore, when asked what self-nature refers to, the answer is that it refers to the self-nature of the ultimate truth, which is non-inversion. The self-nature of the ultimate truth is unspeakable, so it is not conventional truth. Why? Because in conventional truth, there is no clinging to the idea that "this is just a name," because through speech, universal conceptualizations arise about the nature of the Dharma. This is only conventional truth, not ultimate truth, because it is only conceptualized in name. Through this non-inversion, Bodhisattvas become proficient in conventional and ultimate truths. Now, in order to show non-inversion on the general characteristics, it is widely declared: 'If one cannot realize the Dharmadhatu, one will not think that Dharma exists.' If one cannot realize that there is no freedom over Dharma, then neither form nor formless Dharma exists, because the nature of all Dharmas is unspeakable, and it is separated from the reality of the grasped and the grasper. Therefore, the Dharmadhatu means that all Dharmas are general characteristics, that is, all Dharmas have no difference, and what exists in them is called general characteristics. If one can understand in this way, then it is non-inversion on the general characteristics, which is established in conventional truth, but not in ultimate truth, because ultimate truth is indistinguishable. Through this non-inversion, Bodhisattvas become proficient in the completely pure object of observation, because it is the object of indistinguishable wisdom. If you ask: What is the difference between self-characteristics and general characteristics? As an antidote to fabricating on the nature of speech, the unspeakable nature is the self-characteristic of the ultimate truth. The selflessness of the completely imputed nature is the nature of all Dharmas, which is the general characteristic. Therefore, differences arise due to different views, but in reality it is not so. Now, the impure and pure Dharmadhatu

In order to correctly show that there is no reversal, the reversed intention, from not abandoning and abandoning, is extensively spoken. Not abandoning the reversed intention is that the Dharmadhatu is impure. Abandoning is pure. Regarding this, the reversed intention is the cause of Alaya-vijnana, reversed discrimination. Not abandoning it is that the Dharmadhatu is impure. Abandoning it is pure. Thus, what is known is that there is no reversal of impurity and purity, in order. Not abandoning the reversed intention is that the Dharmadhatu is impure, which is no reversal of the Dharmadhatu being impure. Abandoning it is pure, which is no reversal of purity. Why? Because the Dharmadhatu is defiled by sudden afflictions. This is also not reversed in conventional truth, but not in ultimate truth. Through this non-reversal, Bodhisattvas have a profound understanding of the abandonment and non-abandonment of obscurations in the Dharmadhatu. Now, in order to correctly show that the purity and impurity of the Dharmadhatu arise suddenly, the nature of the Dharmadhatu is pure, like the sky. It is extensively spoken. Because the nature of the Dharmadhatu is pure like the sky, impurity and subsequent purity are both sudden. The Dharmadhatu is said to be impure on the ground by the afflictions of non-true discrimination. Later, an antidote arises, and abandoning it becomes pure. Both of these are sudden for the Dharmadhatu. Why? Because like the sky, the nature of the Dharmadhatu is pure. If the nature is pure and impurity is sudden, then purity is always pure, so how can it become sudden? Because what is said here is the purity that is free from defilement, there is no fault.
