It is called "ira ro." The existence in terms of meaning is the existence of the grasper and the grasped. Abandoning it is because the aspect of the grasper and the grasped is empty. Why abandon non-existence? Because there is an illusion of appearance there, that is the meaning. There is an illusion of the appearance of the grasper and the grasped, which is a synonym for that. This is non-inverted in conventional truth, but not in ultimate truth, because it is accompanied by conceptual thought. With this non-inverted knowledge, the Bodhisattva thoroughly realizes that all dharmas are separated from the nature of the grasper and the grasped. Now, in order to show that it is non-inverted in the cause of the grasper and the grasped, the alaya-vijñana, it is said extensively, "By that conceptual thought, the place of the conceptual thought is." Being completely perfumed by the conceptual thought of the grasper and the grasped is the conceptual thought, which means that for the meaning of the characteristic of the appearance of the aspect of the grasper and the grasped, this is the grasper, this is the grasped, whatever is spoken by speech and mind is called conceptual thought. Being completely perfumed by that conceptual thought is because in the future, in order to generate similar conceptual thought, the seed is completely increased, so it is called perfumed. That is because of the complete perfuming of conceptual thought, the result is established as the cause, so it is called conceptual thought. The habit of conceptual thought, here refers to conceptual thought, because there is conceptual thought there, so is there no distinction between the support and the supported? Or because the word of the support is not mentioned, it is called conceptual thought, which means that it has become the support of the seed of that conceptual thought of the grasper and the grasped. Relying on it, conceptual thought also arises again. Because it is the support, this is non-inverted for the thought, which is a synonym for non-inverted knowledge. For which thought is the non-inverted thought? If that is not understood, if it is asked for which thought is it non-inverted? Therefore, in order to explain the difference of thought, it is said, "On the cause of the appearance of the grasper and the grasped," which means that it is the nature of the difference of the alaya-vijñana. How is this the grasper and the

In order to show that which becomes the cause of appearing as the apprehended and the apprehender, it is said, "Conceptual ideation is because it is completely conditioned by the thought of expression." This sentence should be connected to "is the cause of appearing as the apprehended and the apprehender." Or, in order to show that saying "conceptual ideation" is the cause of entering, it is said, "Because it is completely conditioned by the thought of expression, it is called conceptual ideation." The thought that arises from expression or completely arises from expression is the thought of expression. By this thought, which is corresponding, possessing, and including, the seed of conceptual ideation is completely nourished, therefore conceptual ideation is called "completely conditioned." This is also non-inverted in conventional truth, but not so in ultimate truth. With this non-inversion, the Bodhisattva can completely abandon the basis of inversion, which is the characteristic of clinging to the appearance of the apprehended and the apprehender. In this way, one can easily abandon the evil destinies. In order to show that I am not deceiving is non-inverted, it is widely said: The non-existence and existence of things should be regarded as like illusion, etc. The so-called existence and non-existence of things are what was just said above. What was said above? It is: "Appearing as two, it does not exist as such, this is not inverted in meaning, abandoning existence and non-existence." That is this sentence. It should be like illusion, etc., because it is similar to illusion, etc., therefore it is like illusion, etc. In order to show that, for example, illusion, although non-existent in its own nature, appears as the nature of elephants, etc., therefore it is said to exist in things such as elephants, etc. The so-called existence in things such as elephants, etc., is that it does not exist in things such as elephants, etc., and it is not completely non-existent, because it only exists in illusion, therefore it is not non-existent. The appearance of the form of elephants, etc., because it only exists in illusion, therefore it is not completely non-existent. Similarly, although it exists, it does not exist as it appears as the apprehended and the apprehender. The nature of the mind and mental factors of the three realms, as it appears, because it only exists in illusion, therefore it is not non-existent.

Yes. The word "etcetera" refers to things like mirages, dreams, and reflections of the moon in water, which appear to be of the nature of water, men, and women, but are not actually existent. Because they are merely illusions, they cannot be said to be non-existent either. Similarly, this should be applied broadly and separately to meanings. Here, the word "etcetera" should also be understood to refer to cities of gandharvas and cliffs, and so on. Thus, seeing things in terms of their meaning as being like illusions, and not having the mind distracted by the aspects of existence and non-existence, but seeing without distraction, that is the non-erroneous understanding of non-distraction. What is non-wavering? Some say it is the samadhi of the Middle Way. If that were the case, how could it be the non-erroneous understanding of non-distraction? Therefore, it is said, "Because he does not cling to existence and non-existence." This non-erroneous understanding is because the Bodhisattva does not conceptualize existence and non-existence. He does not stray from focusing on emptiness, therefore it is called the non-erroneous understanding of non-distraction. This is also the non-erroneous understanding in conventional truth, but not in ultimate truth, because that is non-conceptual. Now, in order to show the non-erroneous understanding of one's own characteristics, it is extensively stated, "Because all discriminations do not arise, everything is only a name." Whatever this is, from the eye and forms, to the mind and dharmas, all of these are just names. That is to say, the nature of the twelve sources, all knowable things are just names. There, it is just the imputation of the nature and differences of names. The object to be imputed and the imputation are without inherent existence, because they are totally imputed. The totally imputed is also non-existent. Otherwise, one would grasp at the eye and so on without relying on names, and there would be no non-grasping without being proficient in language. Therefore, the eye and form are not the nature of the meaning, so from the eye and form to the mind and dharmas, all are just names. Thus, what is known is the antidote to all discriminations, so this is the non-erroneous understanding of one's own characteristics, which is from the perspective of the totally imputed dharma, all dharmas...
