Will always be completely purified. In this way, in whichever aspect, the efforts of those seeking liberation will become meaningless, therefore, it must be undoubtedly acknowledged that there exists the unreal parikalpita, and there is no duality. "Showing the characteristic of collection" means: collection itself is the characteristic. Or, whatever shows collection is the characteristic of collection. Then, why is it said like this? Because here it is said that the grasped and the grasper, as well as ignorance, only exist as the unreal parikalpita. And in other sutras, three natures are spoken of, in order to show well that there is no contradiction with those sutras, so it is said that those are collected here. Therefore, the author of the commentary extensively said: if it is only the unreal parikalpita. The parikalpita and paratantra, as well as the parinispanna are also. Because of the meaning, because of the unreal parikalpita, because there is no duality, so it is said like this. It means: because the grasped and the grasper are empty in nature, so because of completely fabricating unreal things, therefore it is called parikalpita. Although it does not exist in substance, but because it exists in name, so it is called nature. Paratantra depends on cause and condition, because it is born from cause and condition, so it depends on others. It is said: not parikalpita, but born from cause and condition, in all aspects unspeakable, this is the nature of paratantra, is the realm of activity of worldly people. Any unreal parikalpita, that is, separated from duality, that is the nature of parinispanna. Because it is not made of combination, so it will not change, it is completely accomplished. Through the nature of parikalpita, that is, whatever is extremely empty, is the nature of parinispanna, is the realm of activity of non-conceptual wisdom. "Because of the meaning" means, this is said according to the need of the meaning. Therefore, it should be said that this is because of the unreal parikalpita, and because there is no duality. The meaning is the nature of parikalpita. The meaning here refers to form etc., eye etc., as well as self and consciousness. Because in the nature of parikalpita, there is no unreal parikalpita, therefore, the non-existent is called the nature of parikalpita. It is also said: parikalpita and non-parikalpita are the parikalpita

Again, it should be examined that the nature of what is distinguished by the other discriminations is not existent. That which is called unreal imagination is the nature of other-dependence, which means it is influenced and produced by other causes and conditions. Because it does not arise from itself, it is other-dependent. That which is without grasping and apprehending is called the nature of perfect accomplishment, which means it is perfectly accomplished without change and perfectly accomplished without reversal, therefore it is perfectly accomplished. Here, it is shown that the very absence of the unreal imagination from the two (grasping and apprehending) is the absence of grasping and apprehending, not merely the absence of the two. Thus, the unreal imagination itself is other-dependent because it arises from other causes and conditions. That itself, although inherently absent in the nature of grasping and apprehending, is imagined because it appears. That itself is perfectly accomplished because it is free from grasping and apprehending. Thus, the three natures are contained in the unreal imagination. In this way, it is also shown that the unreal imagination is something to be fully known, to be abandoned, and to be manifested through full knowledge. Because the characteristic of the absence of unreal imagination is not fully known, it becomes completely afflicted by afflictions, actions, and lives. Therefore, in order to fully know the characteristic of absence and to show its method, it is extensively said, "By relying on the object." That which is indicated in the unreal imagination is the unreal imagination. The very absence of both grasping and apprehending is the characteristic of absence. Entering into that is understanding it. Its method is by what means to follow its characteristic of absence. That is also the application to thoroughly contemplate the meaning of the all-pervading realm of Dharma, which is skillfully twofold in the distinction of places. This verse is spoken to closely indicate that meaning. རྣམ་པར་རིག་པ་ཙམ་དུ་དམིགས་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་དོན་མི་དམིགས་པ་སྐྱེའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི། དམིགས་པའི་དོན་དང་བྲལ་བ་འདི་ནི་རྣམ་པར་རིག་པ་ཙམ་ཉིད་དེ། རང་གི་ས་བོན་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པ་ལས་གཟུགས་ལ་སོགས་པར་ "By relying on the object as mere consciousness, the non-perception of objects arises," which means this absence of the object of focus is mere consciousness, appearing as form and so on from the complete ripening of its own seed.
