Those limbs are arranged in order. Furthermore, the order of those is by the order of action, which is widely known as the path of meditation. Because one cultivates by relying on it, and it becomes the object of cultivation, it is the path of meditation. On that path of meditation, the limb that completely severs cultivation by cultivating to attain the path of seeing is right view. The so-called mundane is mundane because it possesses conceptualization. Because one gains the power to produce it, even when one is in equipoise on the path, it is arranged. Transcendence is non-conceptualization. Even if it becomes non-conceptualization, it is called right view because it becomes the place of right view. Therefore, it is said to be obtained after transcendence, that which is obtained after the path of seeing of transcendence is the term called birth. What is its object? Therefore, it is said that it is realized by itself. When one realizes with the path of seeing, one completely cuts off, saying, "I have realized such and such," because it is the object of the path of seeing, it is called right view. The limb that makes others understand, which appears extensively, is that the only true right view that is completely severed by right view, and right thought makes others understand. Right thought and right speech are limbs that make others believe. Therefore, it is said that one makes others understand with speech that is accompanied by motivation. Right thought is the motivation for speech, because it is said in the sutras that one should not speak words without examination or investigation. In order to gain the power to produce it, one should also know that it is in accordance with those two when in equipoise. It is not the case that one thinks rightly or speaks when in equipoise. There are three limbs that make others believe: right speech, right action, and right livelihood. How is it? Therefore, it is said that those, in order, abandon views and the requisites of discipline, and desire to make others understand. That is, right speech, right action, and right livelihood are in order. With right speech, it appears extensively. The so-called declaration is the teaching of the Dharma. Relation

The term "reliance on definitive speech" refers to refuting and answering others based on realization. This definitive speech related to statements, like this, is unobstructed, its meaning is very definite and without contradiction, and it expresses clear meaning, so through this (speech) one can definitely understand, thereby causing others to trust in wisdom. "The ultimate of right action is discipline" refers to being connected to "generating trust." If asked why, it is because of this reason that it is said, "In order not to do what should not be done." The ultimate of right action is non-virtuous conduct, so if one possesses it, one will not do what should not be done even for the sake of life. Therefore, here, trust arises that "this person possesses the discipline pleasing to the noble ones." "Right livelihood is reducing needs" refers to being connected to "generating trust." If asked why, it is because of this reason that it is said, "In order to seek robes and so on according to Dharma and measure." Without the faults of pretense and so on, bodily and verbal conduct for the sake of the necessities of life is right livelihood. Therefore, like this, this person seeks Dharma robes and so on reasonably and according to measure in order to merely maintain the body, so without a doubt this person has abandoned attachment to necessities, thereby one will trust that this person reduces needs. Furthermore, with right view, arrogance will be eliminated, because one fully understands one's own conceptualizations as they are. With speech arising from right thought, one will roar the lion's roar. With right speech, the ultimate of action, and livelihood, one will truthfully state the vows one has made. Because one does not understand the three branches of the antidote to the opposing side, therefore it is said, "Right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration." If asked which antidote to the opposing side these are, therefore, these are in order: "Afflictions, near afflictions, and freedom, are the antidotes to the opposing side." Thus it is said. Among them, the first antidote is right effort,
