The term "non-discriminating wisdom" should be combined with both. Alternatively, it should be understood that the word "discrimination" is not mentioned in between. To know the merits and faults, one should separately state "from others" and "by oneself." Non-discriminating wisdom is itself. Therefore, it is said in the commentary that it should be combined as appropriate. Regarding knowing the merits and faults of Nirvana and Samsara, the word Nirvana here refers to the path and cessation. For example, like the word "completely peaceful." Among them, knowing that cessation has the aspect of peace, etc., and knowing that the path has the aspect of definite departure, etc., is knowing the merit of Nirvana. Samsara is the nature of suffering and the origin. That is, knowing impermanence, etc., as the aspect of suffering, etc., and knowing the aspect of origin and cause, etc., is knowing the fault of Samsara. The so-called "hearing from others" is hearing from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc., how the merits and faults of Nirvana and Samsara are spoken of. The so-called "for definite departure" is for departing from Samsara. The so-called "Sravaka Vehicle" is for definite departure by relying on the voice of others. The so-called "Sravaka Vehicle" shows the difference from the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle. The so-called "oneself" is that after knowing the merits and faults of Nirvana and Samsara, without hearing from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc., one decides to depart by oneself, so it is the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle. The so-called "not hearing from others, knowing by oneself" shows the difference from the Sravaka Vehicle. The so-called "with non-discriminating wisdom" is because knowing that the two dharmas of Samsara and Nirvana are inexpressible, so it is non-discriminating wisdom. Because one does not hear from others, one decides to depart by oneself, so it is the Mahayana. Here, wisdom is used to distinguish it from the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle. Others say that after hearing from others, with the non-discriminating wisdom that has the object of the selflessness of persons, one definitely
