In order to dispel this fault, it is said, "In that, there is also this." Like this, because in emptiness there exists the unreal conceptualization, therefore you are not liberated. Therefore, just as clear water is not realized because it is stained with impurities. Or, in order to refute those who view sentient beings and mental factors, as well as form and substance, as existing, it is said, "The unreal conceptualization exists." That is to say, it itself is a substance. Form is not separate from it, nor is it a substance. Why? Because, in it, both do not exist. The unreal conceptualization does not grasp anything, nor is it to be grasped by anyone, it is merely the entity itself that is free from the grasper and the grasped. Like this, outside of consciousness, there is no grasped such as form, just as in dreams and so on, the consciousness that appears as form and so on arises. If it is a cause, then without it, it cannot arise. Therefore, it itself is without an object, just like dreams and so on. It should also be known that in other cases, from the complete ripening of one's own seed, the consciousness that appears as a real thing arises. If there is no grasped, the grasper will also disappear, therefore if there is no grasped, the grasper cannot exist. Therefore, form is not separate from the unreal conceptualization. If there is no grasped, therefore there is no pure object, then will there also be no liberation? It is not like that. Like this, "Emptiness exists in this." The word "ni" means "for what reason." Emptiness is the pure object, it is the very absence of the grasper and the grasped. Because it exists in the unreal conceptualization, there will be no lack of liberation. If it exists in the unreal conceptualization, then because it exists, why is it not realized? In order to show that because it is obscured by the unreal conceptualization, it cannot be realized like the stainless sky, but it is not non-existent, therefore it is said, "In that, there is also this." Or, in order to refute the imputation of everything, it is said, "The unreal conceptualization exists." That is to say, because there exists the nature of transformed consciousness.

Everything is neither non-existent nor existent in its own nature. Whatever appears to the mind, such as forms, is not truly as it seems; it exists inherently apart from mere conceptualization. Therefore, to refute the imputation of existence to what is non-existent, it is said: "In that, there are not two." This means that only the unreal conceptualization exists. Some people think that the absence of two is like the child of a barren woman, a non-entity, clinging to it as an entity of annihilation. Others say that the absence of an agent within is the emptiness of all phenomena. Therefore, to refute the slander of emptiness and to truly show selflessness, it is said: "Emptiness is in this." If emptiness exists in unreal conceptualization, does that mean all beings will be liberated without effort? It is not so, because it is said: "In that, there is also that." Because until emptiness is completely purified, there is no liberation. What is completely defiled must be purified with great effort; without effort, there is no liberation. Alternatively, there is nothing other than describing the characteristics of complete defilement and complete purification. Therefore, to explain the characteristics of complete defilement and complete purification, it is extensively said: "Unreal conceptualization exists." Because it is the characteristic of delusion. The nature of unreal conceptualization is complete defilement. How is this known to be the characteristic of delusion? Like this, "In that, there are not two." Because it appears as the grasper and the grasped, which are without self-nature, it manifests as the very nature of delusion. Now, to examine the nature of complete purification, it is said: "Emptiness is in this." Because it is the nature of non-duality. The nature of emptiness is complete purification. Through the thorough distinction of emptiness, the paths and cessation should also be understood as included here. To clearly show that the side of complete purification should be sought from the side of complete defilement, and not outside of one's own continuum, it is said, "In this." If two
