The meaning of non-perversion with respect to the ground is shown to be solely the meaning of abandonment. The characteristic of other-powered nature is "although it exists, it is not truly so." That is, the characteristic of examining the apprehended and the apprehender, etc., is the realm of convention, so it exists. Because it does not exist as the nature of the apprehended and the apprehender, etc., it is not truly so. In order to show this, it is said, "because of delusion." That is, whatever appears like the cause of illusion is existent. However, it does not appear as the aspect of the apprehended and the apprehender, just like the illusory person, etc. Therefore, it will be shown as delusion. That is the very nature of the other-powered, appearing as the aspect of existing elsewhere but not existing in its own nature. Because it is the occasion, here too, the meaning of "non-perversion" should be applied. The characteristic of the thoroughly established is "only existence and non-existence." That is, existence, non-existence, and only that are the characteristics of the thoroughly established. Because the absence of duality is the nature of existence, it is existent. Because it is the nature of the absence of both, it is non-existent. Because it is the object of complete purity, it is only that. Here, with respect to the nature of the thoroughly established, it is only that. The meaning of "because of non-perversion" should be applied. If the onlyness of the three natures is explained, the characteristics are not explained. Therefore, either ask, or explain the onlyness of the characteristics under the onlyness of the root. Since that is not clear, ask, "What is the onlyness of the characteristics?" Therefore, it is widely said, "In this, there are dharmas and persons." After knowing what, the view of imputation and defamation does not arise towards both persons and dharmas, that is the characteristic of the onlyness of the nature of the thoroughly imputed. That is, with respect to the self and forms, etc., clinging to the fact that other than the consciousness that appears as those aspects, its object is truly existent is the view of imputation. Saying "it does not even exist conventionally" is the view of defamation. Others say that abandoning the consciousness that appears as persons and dharmas is the view of defamation. This abandonment of clinging should be considered. What is the characteristic

The view of completely determining and superimposing or denigrating both persons and phenomena is the very characteristic of the truly existent nature of the completely conceptualized. It should be understood to abandon superimposition and denigration. That is also truly existent in name, but not in nature. Because the completely conceptualized is weak, the view of superimposing or denigrating both persons and phenomena will not arise, which is called the synonym of "unborn." It is widely said that there is a view of superimposing or denigrating the two, the grasper and the grasped. If one clings to the illusion of appearing as the grasper and the grasped, clinging to it as phenomena and persons, and if one clings to it as truly existent, then that is superimposition on the grasper and the grasped. If one clings to the grasper as non-existent, just like the grasped, then that is denigration of the grasper and the grasped. Knowing which characteristic will not give rise to the view of superimposing or denigrating the two, the grasper and the grasped, that is the characteristic of the nature of other-powered. It should be known to abandon superimposition and denigration. That is also imputed, that is, without the nature of grasper and grasped. Because that is the place of name, it is existent. If one completely knows in this way, then the view of superimposing or denigrating the other-powered will not arise. It is widely said that there is a view of superimposing or denigrating existence and non-existence. Some say that if one correctly follows and observes that emptiness is truly existent, then that is the view of superimposing existence. If one says it is non-existent, then that is the view of non-existence. Knowing which characteristic will not give rise to these two views of existence and non-existence, that is the very characteristic of the truly existent nature of the completely established. Some say that it is also the nature liberated from existence and non-existence, and knowing it will not give rise to the view of existence and non-existence on the completely established nature. Others say that for the nature liberated from existence and non-existence, because of superimposing the nature of existence, both do not exist, it is...
