The wisdom that knows that karma will not manifest its future life is knowing, and that is also with suchness as its object. The all-pervasive affliction of life refers to rebirth in the future life, and the so-called "wawa" refers to the connecting consciousness. The arising of the mind and mental factors at every moment is called connection, until death. The so-called continuum of the future life refers to the dying existence with afflictions, and the intermediate state after that, and then the existence of birth again. For those who have attained the formless absorption, after the dying existence is the existence of birth. Its antidote is knowing the unborn, knowing the unarisen, and knowing the selflessness, that is, knowing that all phenomena are unborn by the nature of the completely imputed, and the wisdom that takes emptiness as its object, that is knowing the unborn. The wisdom that takes the emptiness of the completely imputed phenomena as its object is knowing the unarisen, because it knows the unarisen by them. Like the son of a magical woman, knowing that the continuum of things is selfless, that is knowing the selflessness. The seven kinds of wisdom, such as knowing emptiness, are, as mentioned before, the antidote to the opposing side, the antidote to the seven kinds such as views. Afflictions and karma, and the all-pervasive affliction of life, these three kinds, are separated from the seven kinds of differences, that is purification, separation is abandonment. Others think that suchness, the path, and nirvana are purification, and separation by the path here is separation, so the combination of words is different. Suchness etc. are thought to be the meaning of purification. Thus, knowing emptiness etc., the word "etc." includes knowing emptiness, knowing signlessness, knowing wishlessness, knowing non-manifestation, knowing unborn, knowing unarisen, knowing selflessness. The so-called knowable phenomena such as emptiness etc. refers to

Furthermore, by the word "etc.," it fully encompasses the characteristics of what is called emptiness, the signlessness of knowables, the wishlessness of knowables, the non-activity of knowables, the unbornness of knowables, the unceasing of knowables, and the fully established nature of the selflessness of knowables. The statement "not acting in accordance with the three types of pervasive afflictions, up to emptiness, etc." means that the dharmas such as the emptiness of knowables are distinct from the afflictions just mentioned, as well as the pervasive afflictions of karma and birth. The phrase "emptiness by nature, etc." means that by knowing emptiness, etc., one does not become emptiness. As for "in accordance with each," here "in accordance" means this: knowing emptiness does not connect with or separate from the pervasive afflictions of viewing knowables as empty, because the view of emptiness is not the essence of the view itself. Similarly, knowing signlessness does not separate from signs such as desire, because the emptiness of signs such as desire is not the signlessness of itself. Knowing wishlessness does not view knowables as wishes, because the emptiness of wishes is by nature the characteristic of wishlessness. Knowing non-activity does not view knowables as non-activity, because the emptiness of activity is by nature the characteristic of non-activity. Knowing unbornness does not view knowables as unborn, because the emptiness of birth is by nature the characteristic of unbornness. Knowing unceasing does not view knowables as unceasing, because the emptiness of the arising and ceasing of mind and mental factors in each moment is by nature the characteristic of unceasing. Knowing selflessness does not view knowables as selfless, because the nature of samsara is by nature selfless. Alternatively, the reason for broadly stating "in accordance with each of the three types of pervasive afflictions" is that afflic

Dividing all afflictions of affliction, karma, and life into seven types, among the dharmas such as knowable emptiness, which dharma is suitable to be combined with which different all afflictions? That is, through knowing emptiness, etc., it cannot be made emptiness, but it should be understood. Among them, the affliction of view should be combined with knowing emptiness. Similarly, the continuation of life should be combined with knowing no self-nature. Why not do this? Because the nature of the dharma realm is not the source of all afflictions. Their nature is emptiness, etc. Therefore, those views cannot be made emptiness by knowing emptiness, because their nature is the characteristic of emptiness. By knowing no characteristic, greed, etc., cannot be made no characteristic, because the nature of the dharma realm is no characteristic. Similarly, the continuation of life cannot be made no self-nature by knowing no self-nature, because even if the antidote does not arise, the self-nature of the imputed is originally non-existent. Because of those things that exist now, so if it is thought that the dharma realm will become afflicted or pure, this is an extreme. Why? Because, for things whose nature is not the source of all afflictions, there is neither affliction nor purity. Just like space. In order to completely abandon these two extremes, one should practice the Middle Way, that is, with the nature of emptiness wisdom, to understand the self-nature of the perfect accomplishment of dharmas such as knowable emptiness. The self-nature of the other side that does not conform to this, that is, separated from the seer, etc., will not make it emptiness. Even if wisdom does not arise, the dharma of seeing self-nature is originally empty with the self-nature of the imputed. Similarly, through no characteristic, dharmas cannot be made no characteristic, because dharmas themselves are no characteristic. Starting from no self-nature, through no self-nature, dharmas cannot be made no self-nature, because dharmas themselves are no self-nature.
