That is the final conclusion. If someone says that beings, because they are born, carry the Dharma to other places, then, because they have not gone anywhere at the time of going, it is not reasonable to say that only staying is going. As it is said, as long as the nature of going has not been obtained, then the aggregates do not have the action of going to other places. Staying is because it has not gone to other places, just as the aggregates stay in that place, how can it be said that going has taken it away? It is not possible that there is no seed in the last moment. That is to say, similarly, it is not reasonable that staying has no seed at other times. If the aggregates change into others in each moment, then the afflictions of those who want to arise afflictions will become the last because they have ceased. If there is not that, then the last is impossible. If there is not what? If the conditioned phenomena do not change into others in each moment, that is to say, if it is not the nature of momentary destruction, then it will be so. In those two, it is impossible that there is no complete change in each moment. The two refer to increase and decrease. If those waters are of the nature of destruction, then springs, lakes, and ponds, etc., will also be filled, and rupture will flow. Similarly, for staying, there is no flowing. Drying is also the same as that, if those are completely destroyed from the beginning by the nature of momentary destruction, then they will decrease, but not for those who stay. Later, there is no special reason, that is to say, apart from the reason for the sequence being momentary destruction, there is no other special reason for the springs, lakes, and ponds, etc., to be filled or dried up. What is done by time is because it completely stays until other times. That is to say, because it completely stays until other times, land, dwellings, villages, and cities, etc., become temples. Colors, smells, tastes, and tangibles, because they have the same cause as earth, etc., should also be recognized as momentary in the same way. That is to say, because it is possible to have drying and growth, as well as natural movement, increase and decrease, and complete

Due to the causes of the four transformations, etc. Like this, the form that is continuous depends on the four great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. Therefore, just as the causes of dryness and growth, etc., cause the four great elements to appear in an instant, so too should it be understood that color, etc., are the same as that. If fire arises, then the firewood that arises together with non-existence does not exist in the same way. It is said that if fire arises, then the firewood will be destroyed. How can the fire that arises from the destruction of firewood become a stable nature? In the end, there will be no firewood, so the fire that burns the firewood cannot exist either. It is said that the state of having no firewood is the state of ashes. The fire of the flame has subtle firewood. Without it, it will turn into ashes, which is its fire. If it were to exist in the same way, then it would destroy itself and would not be completely destroyed, and in the end it would not turn into ashes. This is the concluding remark. If one thinks that lamps, etc., are different in nature from those other conditioned phenomena, it is said that lamps, etc., are momentary, while mountains, etc., are stable. This is different. Precisely because of this, lamps, etc., are those that are completely established in an instant, and are given as examples. If those are completely established, then lamps, etc., are those that are completely established, and mountains, etc., are other conditioned phenomena that are not completely established. Which ones are established in an instant? There are two kinds of differences, the essence of the entity.

English

The meaning of 'the meaning of impermanence is meaningless' is the very impermanence of extreme non-existence. The meaning of momentary destruction should also be understood as the meaning of impermanence, therefore, the very impermanence of momentary destruction is established. 'I, all dharmas are without self' establishes the selflessness of the person. How can one fully accept the non-single assertion? It means that one should not fully accept the statement 'In a single assertion, does the person exist or not?' Therefore, one should accept the non-single assertion. 'Object of focus' means to be understood by the mind. If the person is not understood by the minds of those who speak of the person, then this statement is a word of manifest attachment to the person. Therefore, in the end, the Blessed One also said, 'One should only focus on and cling to the dharma that is seen as self.' If so, how can it be said that one does not focus? The scripture shows that one focuses on the person. 'Not to be spoken of as one or other' means that it is not to be spoken of as oneness or otherness, which is a synonym. If it is otherness, then it would follow that the person exists as a substance, which means that whatever is the nature of the self is the nature of the aggregates, which is a synonym. If the intention of 'substance exists but cannot be spoken of' must also be spoken. It means, why is it that it exists as a substance and yet cannot be spoken of? The intention must be spoken. For example, fire carried by the wind, like a flame, also goes far away. Mentioning the word 'fire' means holding the flame, even without firewood, just as the wind blows the flame, it also goes far away. May this kind of consciousness become like this, that is its master. 'Its cause' is a synonym for the cause of the person. Because three faults arise, the author is not self-born, and because it is not the author, etc., faults will be explained, and precisely because of these three reasons, it is also not the cause of the person. 'There is no agent of seeing, etc.' means that even without an agent, if the conditions are gathered, then all of seeing, hearing, etc. will occur.
