The fruit of pure view is liberation, and the wisdom of liberation, these will be obtained. If, for the moment, I am afraid because I do not understand this, that is not reasonable. Why? Because this cannot be realized by those who have not accumulated roots of virtue, who have not attended and revered virtuous friends. Keeping this difficult-to-realize truth in mind, in order to realize the Great Vehicle with mind and wisdom, one should strive to attend and revere virtuous friends as if one's head and clothes were on fire. Here is a verse: If those skilled in methods do not become weary, people will follow the actions of those skilled in methods. If that is also unwilling, separated from supreme joy, it is like putting on many poor clothes. If even the Buddha did not comprehend the profound meaning of the words, why would he show the profound truth? If one is afraid because of fearing this, that is also unreasonable. Why? Because the characteristic of the Bhagavan is in accordance with the meaning, because he has abandoned afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, along with their habitual tendencies, and because for all knowable things, non-discriminating wisdom has opened up, therefore he is a Buddha. If even such beings have not comprehended these distinctions, what need is there to speak of us and others? One should not be afraid of that either, but only strive to attend and revere virtuous friends, and then one will know for oneself whether the Buddha has comprehended the profound truth or not. If one is afraid because the profound truth is not the domain of speculators, that is also unreasonable. Why? One should strive to make speculation clear, not be afraid. Thus, this Dharma of the Great Vehicle is also not the domain of speculators. Because that is so, the Bhagavan is praised by Bodhisattvas and Shravakas, etc.: The thought of the Sage, the Supreme Being, is not the domain of speculators, nor is it the domain of children, it transcends mind and mental factors. The venerable teacher Makhol also said.

If someone is a logician, those Sravaka logicians, thinking that the Buddha's power and fearlessness, etc., are weak, praise the Blessed One: If those great merit holders also feel that your power is weak, what can be said about a small insect like me in the outer shell of samsara? The fault of the mind is inherently malicious, and it does not approve of unreasonable things. Therefore, one should not generate anger towards unreasonable things, that is, those useless things, such as sounds, etc. Why? In the Abhidharma Samuccaya, as stated in the chapter on afflictions: What is the nature of affliction? If a dharma arises without arising in a completely peaceful manner, and even after arising, it does not make one's mind stream completely peaceful, that is the nature of affliction. Therefore, if generating it causes the mind to be in such a state, then one should not generate anger even towards enemies and other useless things, as it is said. The Blessed One has also widely prohibited anger in those sutras. The Blessed One, in sutras such as the "Burning Stump Sutra," extensively said, "Even towards a burning stump..." If someone is hesitant, how can one generate anger with the mind? Therefore, the wise say, "Putting one's hand into an anthill will not find any merit. If there is a snake inside, the children will be destroyed." Others also say, "Even if there is doubt about the next life, the wise should abandon evil. Even if it is one in a hundred, evil will end there. If there is a next life, then treating existence as non-existence will be destroyed." In short, the wise should uphold the principle of impartiality, understand this reason that can please the wise, and personally understand "Is this the root of anger, or the root of faith?" If one does not accept this reason, then for those who are naturally hesitant, have faults, and want to abandon anger, one should remain neutral. This is the occasion for practicing the Great Vehicle. Those who know the meaning adorn the Dharma with meaning, as it is said. When the Dharma is self-nature
