And, clasping hands and so on. Furthermore, having arrogance is inferior. Not having arrogance is excellent, in the verse called "Excellent," the "those two" that are mentioned are also indicated by the word "also" as being those two. The inferiority of that accomplishment is shown in two ways, by the distinction of being small and the distinction of arrogance. A small accomplishment is inferior, and having arrogance is also inferior. The excellence of accomplishment is also shown in two ways, a great accomplishment is excellent, and not having arrogance is also excellent. "Union" refers to other times, and the distinctions of union at that time. Beings being obstructed is long, which refers to obtaining offerings to the Bhagavan after many other lifetimes have passed. Immediate closeness refers to the offering of the present time, which is engaging in offering to the Bhagavan immediately upon obtaining it. Near peace means that because one possesses wisdom, the near peace that is close to afflictions, which means that when this mind wanders outward in some way and completely moves away from the objects of the afflictions, then also through the power of the antidote of wisdom, it quickly, quickly makes it near peace.
