Clinging to having qualities, etc., its antidote is the samadhi without aspiration. The so-called clinging to having qualities as not having qualities is that nirvana is the perfection of all qualities. To this, children cling to not having qualities due to the fear of annihilation. The so-called all conditioned things are impermanent refers to those with and without outflows. The so-called all conditioned things are suffering refers only to those with outflows, and the word "all" should be regarded as expressing only one aspect. The so-called all dharmas are without self refers to those with and without outflows, conditioned and unconditioned. Here, the word "all" should be regarded as expressing everything. To contemplate the four kinds of contemplation on the wondrous is the thought of vastness towards the paramitas, etc. What is the most wondrous in this? Briefly, in the paramita of generosity, giving away one's own body is the most wondrous. In discipline, giving away great perfections for the sake of protection is the most wondrous. In patience, patience towards the powerless, such as the lowly, poor son of a candala, etc., even if they harm one many times, enduring like loving an only child is the most wondrous. In meditation, even in meditations that are the nature of bliss, not tasting the flavor is the most wondrous. In wisdom, non-conceptualization is the most wondrous. Thus, these are vast because of their wondrousness. The so-called thought of a long time is that, because of its wondrousness, the vast paramitas, etc., are also practiced for three countless eons, which is also very wondrous. For what kind of sentient beings do the paramitas, etc., benefit, and they also act without expecting anything in return, which is also very wondrous. The so-called thought of not looking at the ripening is not looking at the power of future lives, etc., from generosity, etc. Also, contemplate the four kinds of contemplation on the non-wondrous. The so-called four kinds of non-wondrous are the vastness and longevity of the paramitas, etc., if so

"The fruit is the actual attainment of Buddhahood" means that there is nothing surprising in the fact that the fruit of such a cause is Buddhahood itself. "If both of these exist" means that it is vast and long-lasting. "There is nothing surprising in the fact that one places one's mind equally on oneself and others" means that a Bodhisattva, unlike ordinary sentient beings, does not harm others to achieve his own goals, or only act for his own benefit without regard for others. Rather, he does things like completely giving up his own body. Moreover, completely giving up his own body and so on is not practiced in a few kalpas, but is universally practiced, so it is vast and long-lasting. Therefore, there is nothing surprising in the fact that one becomes equal to oneself and others. "Superior because of their purity" means superior because of their purity to suffering sentient beings. For example, Indra and others, the Bodhisattva is superior compared to those who benefit suffering sentient beings by giving alms and so on. Even if Indra and others receive offerings and so on, they do not expect anything in return, let alone those suffering sentient beings who have nothing to give. There is nothing surprising in this. If one does not expect anything in return from those who are extremely superior, such as Indra, how can one expect anything from other people? "Even though one has obtained a body and possessions that are manifestly superior to all the worlds, one does not look to the ripening." This means that even though one does not desire the nature of freedom, etc., which is the fruit of giving and so on, one also obtains a body that is manifestly superior to all the worlds, and one also obtains various kinds of possessions, but one does not look to the ripening. There is nothing surprising in this. Thinking in this way is because one is manifestly engaging in making all sentient beings enter into equality by means of giving and so on. When a Bodhisattva engages in the activity of giving and so on, he does not think like this: These sentient beings are relatives and so on, because they are kind to me, so I should give them a lot of alms and so on.
