Etc. are grasped, those are synonyms for "transformed from others." Form etc., the consciousness of objects, and eye etc., the consciousness of the body, transformed into others, is the uncontaminated realm. Mind, grasping, and discrimination, because of transformation, it is said to add obtaining the four kinds of mastery. If the afflicted mind transforms into another, what non-discrimination obtains mastery? As it is said above: If the mind transforms into another, one obtains wealth and enjoys non-discriminating, wisdom is extremely immaculate, one obtains excellent wealth. It is said like this. If grasping transforms into another, one obtains the wealth of mastery over the field, because it is said that grasping with objects transforms into another, enjoying as desired, in order to show that the field is pure, one obtains excellent wealth. It is said like this. Discrimination is the consciousness of the mind. Similarly, transformation obtains mastery over wisdom and action, as it is said: If discrimination transforms into another, at all times always towards wisdom and, all actions are unobstructed, one obtains excellent wealth. It is like this. Both non-selves should also be equally known and then acted upon, the sound of "I" should also be observed on the imputed person etc. One should also observe the nature of phenomena, fire is the nature of heat, is a synonym for the self of heat. That is, just as the imputed person is selfless, one knows that the imputed dharma is selfless, in that way one knows the two kinds of selflessness. This is only grasping, the word "only" here is for clarifying the meaning, the mind that is only grasping separated from external objects and, the synonym for only what arises from the mind. Only that nature is only consciousness, if one asks how only consciousness is that nature? As when entering only consciousness, in the stage of endurance, the object of grasping does not appear, that is also a samadhi that is in one aspect of the meaning of that nature, so it is called nature. By the power of previous accumulations, that is, the accumulations of merit and wisdom in other lifetimes also

What are those that have been thoroughly proven? "Appearing only in name" means only in name, that is, name is only the expression of mind. Therefore, it is said immediately afterwards, "separated from meaning." If there is no meaning, then its consciousness cannot be seen, because if there is no object to be grasped, the grasper cannot be seen either. "Seized by the noose of self-view" means bound by self-view. The bondage of self-view is a bad state, because the etymology of the word "grasping" comes from the meaning of grasping. How the mind is reversed and how it grasps self-view, it will rely on many sufferings in the cycle of the five realms. Therefore, these three types of selflessness should be understood in conjunction with the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena. The characteristics of conditioned phenomena are three: arising, ceasing, and change. These three characteristics of conditioned phenomena should be combined with the three times. Because of the absence of self, it is called selflessness, which refers to what arises from the future time when phenomena have not arisen, that is arising, not like the Samkhyas who believe that only what already exists from the principle arises. Because there is no own essence, it is called selflessness, which refers to when phenomena cease, unlike the Samkhyas who believe that although they disappear, they still exist in their own essence. Therefore, it is also selflessness, which is the second characteristic of conditioned phenomena, cessation. Because it does not abide in its own essence, it is said that after arising, it does not abide after a moment, and things that arise in this way do not abide after a moment. Therefore, it is also selflessness. This is the third characteristic of conditioned phenomena. Like grasping, because that does not exist. It means that just as children grasp phenomena as permanent, happy, pure, and self, or just as they grasp phenomena such as form as dualistic appearances, because that does not exist, it is selflessness.
