Pa'o. That is, the object to be focused on and the subject focusing are equal, and with equality and non-discrimination, it is the nature of focusing on suchness. Because of that, it is immovable. Because the wisdom of equality, etc., is the cause of all those aspects, it is like the source of all wisdom. It is said that in the Sutra Showing the Birth of the Tathagata, it says: The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the great source of wisdom because they possess the wisdom that is the basis of all aspects of knowledge. This passage of the Sutra should be combined with this. That is also the Enjoyment Body Buddha, and it is called the Enjoyment Body Buddha because it is the cause of the Enjoyment Body Buddha. Because the image of wisdom arises, it is called 'that'. The word 'that' should be combined with mirror-like wisdom. Constantly possessing great love and great compassion, it is called the wisdom of equality. The example for this is in the Sutra, which says: The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the moon of great wisdom because seeing them makes all sentient beings happy. It is said like this. The discriminating wisdom is: it is always unobstructed in all that is knowable. It is called entering into all dharmas with the distinctions of all aspects, therefore there is no obstruction in all that is knowable. In the mandalas of retinues, showing all prosperity, cutting off all doubts, the rain of great Dharma, pouring down excellently. The example for this is in the Sutra, which says: The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the sun of great wisdom because they make what is knowable truly clear in all aspects. This should be combined with this. The wisdom of accomplishing actions is: the example for this is in the Sutra, which says: The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the medicine of great wisdom because they pacify all the diseases of afflictions. This is it. Because of holding, it is the Dharma that is heard, etc. It is said that with this cause and sequence, mirror-like wisdom will be truly accomplished. Because the mind is equal, towards all sentient beings, self and others are equal.

For your own sake, the wisdom of equality is perfectly realized. Like this, by cultivating great compassion and equality towards all sentient beings, it is perfectly realized. Discriminating wisdom arises from the cause of fully and accurately revealing the Dharma. The wisdom of accomplishing activities arises from the cause of accomplishing all activities. If these stages, such as combination, are completely purified, then mirror-like wisdom and so on will reach ultimate perfection. Regarding the stage of Buddhahood, is there only one Buddha? Or are there many? To this, some say that as long as one world exists, Buddhas will not appear in other worlds. Others say that in all worlds, only one Buddha exists like an iron tree, performing the deeds of a Buddha, and there are not many who manifest and attain complete enlightenment. Still others say that there are many Buddhas, because those who abide in the Dharmakaya, having abandoned self-grasping, grasping at self, afflictions, and obscurations of knowledge along with their habitual tendencies, are also many. Because these have ceased, the occasion of Buddha being neither one nor many arises. Because different kinds are meaningless, and because of perfection and having no beginning, Buddha is not one. In the stainless place, that is, in the uncontaminated realm of reality, the Dharmakaya is not different, not many, but one. How the Buddha himself enters into it, by mastering its methods, there are four verses. The so-called "non-referential meditation is the supreme meditation" refers to when all conceptual constructs, grasping subject, grasped object, self-grasping, grasping at self, and all discriminations are abandoned, such meditation, from obtaining the first bhumi onwards, until the meditation on the ultimate path, is called the supreme meditation. This meaning itself is what completely cuts off the self-nature of meaning, and should be observed from the "Noble Five Hundred Prajnaparamita." Those who regard the Buddha himself as possessing supreme and wondrous qualities, possessing wondrous qualities is...
