By belittling, one obtains inferiority, and towards the assembly of faithful non-humans, and even the teacher, one acts with indifference. Those who are in accordance with the Dharma of the Buddha-sons, are reviled, and from the world, one obtains a bad reputation in the visible Dharma. Reborn elsewhere, one is born in unfavorable circumstances. This verse shows that the faults of the unseen Dharma increase. In order, because of reviling oneself, others, gods, and teachers, as well as those who practice celibacy, the wise, and the nature of Dharma, and also in the directions and intermediate directions, the bad reputation of sinners arises. Reborn elsewhere, one is born in unfavorable circumstances. This verse shows that the faults of future lives increase, because one is born in unfavorable circumstances. Therefore, one completely degenerates from obtaining and not obtaining white Dharma. This verse shows that the faults of the visible Dharma and future lives increase, one completely degenerates from the obtained white Dharma, and one completely degenerates from the unobtained, in order. Therefore, suffering abides, and the mind also does not abide in peace. This verse shows that the mental suffering and displeasure arising from it will be experienced separately. These faults will not occur to those Buddha-sons who possess shame. From this verse onwards, it should be understood that it is the merit of shame, like this, because these faults will not occur. The wise are always well-born among the gods and among humans. This verse is its Vipaka fruit. The intelligent, with shame, quickly perfect the accumulations of complete enlightenment. This verse is the Adhipati fruit. The sons of the Victorious One mature sentient beings, and will not become weary. This verse is the Purushakara fruit. It is always separated and not separated from dissimilar sides and antidotes. This verse shows the separation and the fruit in accordance with the cause, like this, separation from dissimilar sides and non-separation from antidotes. Thus, the Buddha-son who possesses shame will obtain those benefits. This verse says that one will obtain the faultlessness and possession of merits as previously stated.

Thus it is shown. Even if a child wears very good clothes, they are stained by faults because they are without shame. A prince who has the garment of knowing shame is free from the stain of faults even if he has no purity. This shows that those without shame are stained by faults even if they wear clothes other than that. Those who have shame are without stain even if they are naked. Shame is an especially excellent garment. The sons of the Victorious One, if they are endowed with shame, like the sky, will not be stained by worldly dharmas. The term "dharmas" refers to worldly dharmas. Among the princes, those who are adorned with knowing shame are beautiful. This verse shows that shame is like the sky and adornment. Bodhisattvas, because of shame, are loving like mothers to those who are to be tamed. If sentient beings who are to be protected are abandoned, it is because of shame. Shame is what protects from all faults, even in samsara. It is like a herd of elephants and horses, and so forth. These examples of clothing and so forth show that dwelling in shame is the antidote to afflictions, and when traveling, it is the antidote to worldly dharmas, and it is in accordance with dharma, in accordance with abiding, in accordance with fully ripening sentient beings, and in accordance with samsara without afflictions. Accepting everything, Not accepting everything, Not entering into everything, entering, Are the signs of what is done by the shameful, endowed with shame. This shows the four aspects of the signs of being endowed with shame, which are done by shame, namely: not accepting or entering into all faults, and accepting and entering into all qualities. Meditating on shame with one's own mind, Faith and thought in the Dharma, Power and non-conceptuality, Singleness is the main thing. The explanation of this is as before. Seven verses on the distinction of steadfastness: The reliance of the Bodhisattva Is superior to all others Because of its characteristics, excellent distinctions, And immutability. Diligence, concentration, and wisdom Are said to be courage, patience, and steadfastness. Because of the three, the mind of enlightenment,
