If even those who have accomplished their goals do not possess that happiness, then there is no need to mention others, and there is nothing more amazing than that. A verse on the benefits of giving done with compassion: With giving endowed with steadfast love, Whatever brings the happiness of giving, The happiness enjoyed by the three realms, Cannot compare to it. For that happiness, whatever happiness is brought about by those who enjoy happiness in the three worlds, cannot compare to it. This refers to the meaning of the latter half, and the rest is easy to understand. A verse on accepting suffering with love: For the sake of sentient beings, with love, if one does not abandon the nature of suffering, which is samsara, then, for the sake of benefiting others, why would compassionate ones not accept suffering? All suffering belongs to the suffering of samsara, and by accepting it, one will have accepted all suffering. A verse on the increase of the three and their fruits: Compassion and giving accompanied by love, And enjoyment and love arising from that, And arising from being embraced and through its power, The happiness of love will always increase. For bodhisattvas, in all lifetimes, these three will increase: compassion increases through familiarity with compassion, giving increases through the power of compassion, and enjoyment increases through the power of giving. From these three, three kinds of happiness will also arise as fruits: love arises from compassion, embracing sentient beings arises from giving, and from enjoyment comes the power of doing that. A verse on being delighted in giving: Compassion should be increased and developed, It should be fully ripened and made happy with giving, It should be universally guided and led, It is like speaking greatly to those who are attached. Connect the phrase "to those who are attached to giving," compassion is the nature of the six qualities increasing, enjoyment increases it, giving ripens sentient beings, generates the happiness of the giver, universally guides the accumulation of great bodhi, and leads close to great bodhi.

It is similar to the Bodhisattva causing joy to those who are attached to giving. (With) the verse of experiencing happiness through the happiness of others: With compassion, suffering from the suffering of others, without generating happiness, how can one be happy? Therefore, those with love generate happiness for others, and then they themselves attain happiness. How can a Bodhisattva, suffering from the suffering of others with compassion, be happy without generating happiness for sentient beings? Therefore, the Bodhisattva only makes himself happy after making others happy, which should be understood. Six verses showing generosity in accordance with love: The compassionate one always gives himself, like a tree showing that he does not want his own happiness, and makes others happy with all enjoyments. Or else, happiness is not different, nor is it mine. The happiness of the compassionate one does not exist if there is no happiness of others. Therefore, happiness is not a different entity. Without that, the Bodhisattva does not desire the happiness that is the fruit of his own giving. That happiness, the happiness I give, together with the fruit, is given to all sentient beings. If you have something to do for me, do the ultimate fruit for them. Why? Their happiness is my happiness, so giving happiness is giving, my giving and the fruit of giving are given to those sentient beings, so all the fruits that should be done should be known to be done for them, the Bodhisattva shows generosity in accordance with compassion. Although the giver does not want enjoyment, he encounters very many enjoyments and goodness. I do not want that happiness, so I am the lineage of giving. The giver turns his back on enjoyment, but very many and very good enjoyments dwell nearby, because the mind is vast, it is the nature of Dharma. I do not want the happiness of enjoyment that dwells so close, so I want it to be constant, so I have a lineage with giving, not happiness. I always possess with love
