And with an object and without an object. The difference in karma is for the sake of fully maturing sentient beings. Those with objects, sentient beings and dharmas, which class of sentient beings or which dharma do they enter? And those without objects, which object do they enter? For the steadfast ones, those enter the desire for happiness, and those afflicted by suffering, and happiness, and those with afflictions, and those taught dharmas, and the suchness of that. The object of sentient beings enters from the desire for happiness up to the assembly of sentient beings with afflictions, thus, loving-kindness is the aspect of sentient beings possessing happiness. Compassion is the aspect of being free from suffering. Joy is the aspect of not being separated from happiness. Equanimity is the aspect of accomplishing the absence of all afflictions of sentient beings in those feelings. The object of dharma is, for those taught dharmas, those who abide in what, those enter the taught dharmas. The objectless is entering suchness, because there is no differentiation in those, similar to objectless, therefore it is objectless. Furthermore, because that is the meaning of suchness, and pure by attaining peace, and because the two karmas and afflictions are exhausted, loving-kindness is objectless. By these four reasons, it should be known that loving-kindness is objectless, that is, the object of suchness, and by the gateway of tolerance of the unborn dharma, the realm expands and those are completely pure, and the two karmas, that is, the karma of body and speech, what is gathered by the similar cause of loving-kindness, and the exhaustion of afflictions, thus afflictions are the spoken object, because the knots of the nature of mind are abandoned, therefore it is said to be the object, thus it is said. Those moving and unmoving, and knowing whether tasted or not tasted by attachment. Those Brahma abodes should also be known as four types, among them, moving is the share of having decline, because it will completely decline. Unmoving is the share of having abiding and difference change, because it will not completely decline. What is called not tasted by attachment is acting carelessly with happiness, because the mind is narrow. The taster is the one with afflictions. The one who has not tasted is the one who does not have afflictions.

Yes, this is the distinction of the abodes of Brahma, such as those who have the misfortune of falling away. Among them, the Bodhisattva's immovability, dwelling perfectly free from attachment, is neither in movement nor in those who taste flavors. Samadhi's nature is not small, those who are intermediate and inferior, those with inferior thoughts and pride, whoever is inferior, the other is superior, this is the difference between small and large. Among them, the small has six aspects: all natures that have not entered into Samadhi, and even those who have entered into Samadhi are small, which ones are intermediate, in relation to the higher and higher Bodhisattva grounds, which ones are inferior grounds, those who are inferior in thought and have pride among the Shravakas, those who have not attained and are separated from the acceptance of the unborn Dharma, those are inferior, that is, the synonym for small. The other is superior, which means that the opposite of what was said above is large, it should be known. Those who abide in the abodes of Brahma, the wise are constantly born in desire, they perfect all gatherings, and also ripen sentient beings. Constantly inseparable from Brahma, separated from its unfavorable aspects, even if negligent, its condition, it will not be changed by the unbearable. This is the difference between cause, effect, and sign. Among them, abiding by the abodes of Brahma is called the cause. Being born among sentient beings in the desire realm is called the Vipaka effect. Completing all gatherings is called the Adhipati effect. Ripening all sentient beings is called the Purushakara effect. At all times, not being separated from the abodes of Brahma is called the Nisyananda effect. Being separated from its unfavorable aspects is called the Visamyoga effect. Even if negligent, this means that unfavorable aspects manifest. The condition does not end and does not change, this is the sign. The other four verses are the difference between faults and virtues, the Bodhisattva's harmful mind and, various kinds of harm, displeasure, harmful mind and, those who have desire and attachment, touch many faults.
