It should be fully understood. Because of mutual inclusion, it is fully understood that the giving of fearlessness includes discipline and patience. In this way, these two give fearlessness. The giving of Dharma is meditation and wisdom. In this way, these two give the land of Dharma. Both are diligence, and in this way, it gives both. The discipline of accumulating virtuous Dharma includes all such as giving. Similarly, all such as patience being included should also be appropriately combined. To fully understand through differentiation, in order to establish discipline and so on in the continuum of others, there are six types of giving: the giving of giving, the giving of discipline, and so on, up to the giving of wisdom. To fully understand through Dharma-nature, whatever meanings of giving and so on are manifested in the Sutras and so on, and whatever Dharmas of the Sutras and so on are manifested in giving and so on, those should be understood as mutually inclusive. To fully understand through reason, it is the reason for the discipline and so on of giving. If one does not cling to enjoyment, one can enter into discipline and so on. Discipline is also the reason for giving and so on. If one properly takes the vows of a monk, one can abandon all clinging, and if one abides in discipline, one will possess patience and so on. Properly taking the discipline of accumulating virtuous Dharma is the reason for all such as giving. Similarly, things like patience being mutual reasons should also be appropriately combined. The seven verses summarizing the objects and distinctions are: The four objects of gathering are giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and acting in accordance. Among them, by equating with giving, by showing them, by taking and entering, by following oneself, etc., are considered to be kind speech, beneficial action, and acting in accordance. Giving is considered to be equal, just as it is said in the chapters on the Paramitas and so on. Kind speech is showing them. Meaning

The conduct is to cause them to take it correctly. The word "that" refers to holding the perfections, teaching the perfections, and the term for causing the perfections to be taken correctly. The sameness of meaning is that one follows after whoever causes others to take it correctly. Furthermore, why are the four objects of collection desired? This is for others, a means of benefiting, holding and causing to enter, and likewise following, it should be known as the four objects of collection. Giving is a means of benefiting, because the giving of material things creates benefit for the body. Pleasant speech is holding, because it causes those who do not know the specifics and those who are doubtful to hold the meaning. Beneficial conduct is causing to enter, because it causes one to enter into virtue. Concordance is causing to follow, because the one who causes to take correctly, knowing that he acts as he has spoken, follows after whatever virtue he has caused others to enter. The first is the object that becomes a vessel, the second is faith, the third is accomplishment, and the fourth is purification. The giving of material things makes one a suitable vessel, because it makes one capable of hearing the Dharma. Pleasant speech makes one believe in that Dharma, because it makes one know its meaning specifically and cuts off doubt. Beneficial conduct causes one to accomplish according to the Dharma. Concordance purifies that accomplishment for the sake of long-term accomplishment, this is the work of the objects of collection. Through material things and the Dharma, the object of focus, etc., through the two doors of collection, the four objects of collection are desired. Whatever the Blessed One said about collecting with material things, collecting with the Dharma, and the other two collections, those collect only these four objects of collection. The first is collecting with material things, the remainder are collecting with the Dharma. Those are also the three kinds of Dharma, namely the Dharma of focus, the Dharma of accomplishment, and the Dharma of purifying it.
