Is. The reason and dedication, and, the cause and wisdom of the pure lands, are considered supreme from the aspect of the place. Wisdom's support and basis, and, the reason and dedication, and, the cause and wisdom of the pure lands, are considered supreme from the aspect of the place. The supreme basis of discipline is the bodhisattva's vows. Patience is killing the wicked with weak strength. Diligence is meditating on the perfection, and abandoning the opposing aspects. Samadhi is the samadhi of the bodhisattvas. Wisdom is suchness. The field of all disciplines and so on is the Mahayana. The rest should be understood as before. The bodhisattva's generosity is, if one sentient being is happy for many kalpas, even if they cause harm, they are happy, what need is there to mention the opposite? If the generosity of the bodhisattvas is that only one sentient being obtains happiness, and even if they cause harm to me for many kalpas, yet with the difference of great compassion, they are happy about it, what need is there to mention that many sentient beings obtain happiness, and also benefit me for many kalpas? Why do embodied beings desire wealth? The steadfast give it to the embodied beings. People desire wealth for the sake of the body, The steadfast give it in hundreds and thousands. To this, explain with the first half and the second half. When even giving up the body, the mind is not painful or sad, Then what need is there to mention insignificant things? He transcends this world by this, he rejoices because of this, He is his guru. Here, when giving up the body, the mind does not feel pain or sadness, this shows that he has transcended this world. He becomes happy because of that pain, he is his guru, therefore the one who transcends the world is even more supreme than that. Just as the wise give everything here, Just as people seeking meaning rejoice with joy, Likewise, beggars for things to be taken, Will not rejoice by obtaining what they desire. Giving everything means giving up one's own life and so on. Obtaining what is desired means obtaining what is hoped for.

Why is that? Because wise people give away all their possessions, they are without wealth. How is their mind when they consider themselves wealthy? Beggars have complete enjoyment, and their nature is also like that. However, they do not think of themselves as wealthy people. How do wise people properly practice excellent generosity, Thinking that they have fulfilled their wishes and bestowed great benefits on them. Likewise, after beggars have obtained a great deal of wealth, However, they do not regard the giver as a benefactor, nor do they think of him as the cause of their gain. The meaning of these two verses can only be understood. Just as one enjoys the fruits of a tree on a road, After beings have taken a large amount of wealth from it, They themselves enjoy their own happiness without worry, This joyful and enjoyable person is none other than a Bodhisattva. This one has the enjoyment of liking to give, so he is called a joyful and enjoyable person. It should be known that he is none other than a Bodhisattva. The rest can only be understood. The difference between the main and this cause and effect, The difference in types, the difference in support, And the difference in the remedies for the four obstacles, It is called diligence, and it should be well understood. To understand well the six differences, namely the difference of the main, The difference of its cause, the difference of karma, The difference in types, the difference in support, And the difference in the remedies for the four obstacles, one should understand diligence well. This is what is said in the later verses. Diligence is the best among the collections of virtues, Just as one relies on it to obtain it, Diligence can quickly attain the supreme state of bliss, Accomplishing the transcendent and the mundane. Diligence is the best among the collections of virtues, This means that diligence is the chief of all virtuous dharmas. Just as one relies on it to obtain it, This means the main cause, that is, relying on diligence to obtain all virtuous dharmas. Diligence can quickly attain the supreme state of bliss, Accomplishing the transcendent and the mundane, This means karma, that is, diligence Can quickly attain the supreme state of bliss in this life, and accomplish everything transcendent and mundane.
