, as well as the precepts of gathering virtuous dharmas, and the precepts of benefiting sentient beings. Among these, one is the nature of discipline, and the other is the nature of diligence. The sons of the Buddha are extremely difficult to practice, thus enduring all human harm, not seeking because they cannot obtain the heavenly realms, not because of fear, nor for the sake of benefit, with unsurpassed patience, placing all beings in the three bodhi, patience is completely grasped by wisdom, so it will not be exhausted in the world. This is called the patience of not caring about suffering, and the patience of not being annoyed by harm, in order. The sons of the victors, with the nature of armor, have done unparalleled diligence, destroying the collection of afflictions of themselves and others, obtaining the supreme bodhi, with diligence itself, also placing all beings in the three bodhi, diligence is completely grasped by wisdom, so it will not be exhausted in the world. This is called armor diligence and practice diligence. The sons of the victors, possessing many samadhis, practice all kinds of samadhis, abide in the supreme bliss of samadhi, relying on inferior beings with compassion, with samadhi itself, also placing all beings in the three bodhi, samadhi is completely grasped by wisdom, so it will not be exhausted in the world. Among them, possessing many samadhis, refers to being possessed by the immeasurable samadhis of the Bodhisattva. The sons of the victors, truly understand all that is to be known, even nirvana, they will not generate attachment with discrimination, let alone samsara? With wisdom itself, also placing all beings in the three bodhi, wisdom completely grasps sentient beings, so it will not be exhausted in the world. Among them, truly, refers to the general characteristic possessed by the ultimate truth, that is, the selflessness of person and dharma. All that is to be known, refers to all other knowledge distinguished by the nature of countless differences such as their own languages. Generosity and so on are completely grasped by non-discriminating wisdom, so they will not be exhausted, even in nirvana without remainder, they will not be exhausted. Wisdom

It is because of completely grasping sentient beings and not being exhausted, because with compassion not abandoning sentient beings. The summarized meaning of these six verses is the seventh verse: Vast and without impurity, of great meaning and inexhaustible, the basis of all the merits of giving etc. should be known. This shows that the first root completely shows the vastness of giving etc. The second is the nature of being without impurity. The third is the nature of great meaning, because it accomplishes the great meaning of sentient beings. The fourth is the nature of inexhaustibility, thus those verses should be known as their four qualities. The beggar seeing, fulfilling, rejoicing, not rejoicing and wishing also, the giver is endowed with love, and always overcomes by being more endowed. For the beggar, the giver seeing, and the joy of completely fulfilling the hope in the mind by getting what is desired from that, and not seeing, and not completely fulfilling the unhappiness, and seeing that, the arising of wishing to completely fulfill the hope in the mind, that for the Bodhisattva, at all times seeing the beggar, and his hope in the mind being completely fulfilled, not seeing, and not completely fulfilling arises even more, therefore the giver is endowed with love, and overcomes all those by being more endowed. With love for sentient beings, life and enjoyment, wives etc., constantly giving, extremely rejoicing, how can abandoning that not protect? Abandoning those is abandoning that, other lives and enjoyments and wives etc. This shows the merit of discipline that turns away from the three kinds of misconduct of the body. Not looking up or down, with an equal mind, not fearing, giving everything for the sake of love, how can one speak false words that harm others? This shows the merit of turning away from false speech, speaking falsely is for oneself, considering the body and life, or for other beings, loving friendly beings, or because of fear, because of being afraid of kings etc., or for a little impurity, speaking for gain.
